Thankful for such a delicious meal at a restaurant where the atmosphere is unmatched. On a personal and professional level, I had a tough day (as most of us do) and my server Denise was so sweet, attentive & caring throughout my evening there. My experience was fabulous and so appreciated. The food was great and the atmosphere was nice. Our server was having a rough night and kept forgetting items we ordered, only to be reminded when she would come back to the table.

My first experience there and I loved it. I had a stuffed quail...and Brule cheesecake and walked away satisfied. Everything was surprisingly flavorful, well seasoned and delicious. The atmosphere perfect, the wine wonderful and yes I will return with friends.

We were so excited to have dinner at The Library Wine and Provisions in Gonzales while visiting family in the area over Christmas. From the cocktails, appetizers, and the dinner - everything we got on the menu was excellent - and we practically ordered everything on the menu. There were 8 of us and I think our favorites from the apps were the tuna tart, the flatbread, the ceviche guacamole, and the shishito peppers. SO GOOD. From the entree section, the scallops, filet mignon, gnocchi, and red fish were highlights. This restaurant is a great addition to dining options in this area- and quite frankly stands in a class of its own outside of New Orleans (in fact, it is better than some of the restaurants we have been to in New Orleans.) The only minor complaint was that it was pretty cold the night we went (temperature wise) and could use a little more warmth - maybe like real bookshelves or curtains on the windows. We live in Atlanta and we will most certainly be back when visiting family. Don't hesitate to go enjoy a special evening at this restaurant!

I ordered take out. Their restaurant closes at 10, but the kitchen closes at 9:30. I got there a little after 9:30 & the Chef was very nice to accommodate my order. The atmosphere is really nice in there. This would be a really great place for a date night, All of the food I ordered was absolutely delicious! I ordered a large variety of small plates & salad for my husband and I to try out. No complaints on anything, but my absolute favorites were the watermelon salad and the waygu flatbread. Will definitely be back!

This was an excellent experience all around! Our waitress was Katie, she hit the perfect balance of attentive but not overbearing. We had the wagyu flatbread, truffle fries, burrata salad, and the redfish, and cleaned every plate. We will definitely be returning!

Small establishment but had no issues taking reservations for a birthday party of 11. Service was perfect as they had plenty of wait staff. Not a lot of items on the menu but just enough to have choices. Between the whole table we had just about all of the small plates so I got to sample a large variety and they were all excellent. Once again not a large menu so our table covered just about all of the entrees and everyone seemed happy with their choices. Plenty of wine choices and a fun drink menu to choose from. Expect to spend a bit more than other local restaurants but the quality of the food, the service, and the atmosphere make it worth a visit.

The Library is very close to where I live in Pelican Crossing. I wish they weren't closed on Sundays and Mondays, but the times I have been there I sat at the bar. Also, don't understand why they close at 10pm when most people stay open much later than that. The drinks were pretty good, but I was surprised that the bartenders did not know how to make Louisiana standards like Sazerac and Ramos Gin Fizz cocktails, wish you could find it just about any bar in NOLA.

Library Wine and Provisions delivered a tremendously impressive dinner that really stood out among restaurants in the area. From start to finish, the meal we had here was spectacular.Ariel took care of our table and was outstanding. Her personality was very relaxed and friendly while being able to engage with everyone at our table in a way that made us feel welcomed, setting the tone for the rest of the meal. The cocktails were perfectly crafted. We had the Snow White, Pride and Prejudice, and The Black Forest. Looking at the ingredients, they all seemed coherent and complimentary. The layer of purple vodka floated on the top of the Pride and Prejudice was a nice touch. We had the meatballs, arancini, gnocchi, pork loin, crab cakes and the chicken pasta. The meatballs were perfectly seasoned with lots of subtle and complimentary flavors with the pesto and smoked tomato sauce. The arancini had a perfectly crispy outside with a creamy rice filling with a great spicy remoulade. The gnocchi was my best in show. The gnocchi were soft but a nice texture and dressed with the appropriate amount of sauce without being inundated. The mushroom and truffle made the flavors deep and complimentary with the poached egg made a nice sauce that tied the whole dish together. It was an exceptional dish and maybe the best thing I've eaten all year, no lie! The pork loin was cooked perfectly and remained juicy despite it being a lean protein. The crab cakes had lots of crab with a great texture and flavor of just the crab with enough of the remoulade to turn it up just a notch. The chicken on the pasta was seasoned well and fork tender with the tomato and cheese sauce stuck will to the pasta that made every bite delicious. The creme brulee had a light crust and a very soft and somewhat thin texture. The raspberry sauce was a perfect compliment, not too sweet but enough berry flavor to enhance each bite. The mousse dome was a journey of chocolate textures that demonstrated everything that chocolate could be.From start to finish, the night at the Library was very enjoyable. It is a welcome addition to the local restaurant scene awash in chain restaurants and burger joints. I strongly encourage you to go out of your way and have dinner at the Library. I'm already thinking about going back soon, just for the gnocchi!

This steak was definitely overcooked. According to reviews a couple of people experienced the same. It was re brought out to me and told to cut in the center. I've never had a filet look like this ever. The bartender was kind
