Chicken and sausage gumbo was amazing! Will definitely make a visit again

A surprisingly good "fast food" experience. The fried shrimp and catfish are on par with way more expensive seafood restaurants. Service and pricing are very good. The roast beef debris poboy is excellent and the very Louisiana bread pudding bites are a sweet treat.

Ordered two roast beef po-boy's dressed at the drive thru. When the kid handed my order I noticed the bag was tied but figured he was being thoughtful. We arrived home and found the sandwiches were Dry and not dressed... Oh but there was 14 pickles between the two. We don't eat out much and that will continue.

Our son had a competition in a town over! We came here for lunch. The food is amazing! Wish I had taken a picture before I ate. lol. My kids got chicken kids plates, shrimp platter, chicken platter, and my husband got a catfish platter. Not one complaint from anyone except the catfish were a bit small. Everything was fresh and hot and tasty! I got the grilled shrimp poboy and some chicken and sausage gumbo! We’re from swla. And still the gumbo was “off the hook.” Five out of five! Will return if we’re ever in the area!

Went to your business on Friday 2/16/24 at 4 pm for dinner. It was my first and last time. I went thru the drive thru ad ordered a Fish Platter and a Shrimp Platter also a cup of Seafood Gumbo. The fish was fried in old grease which made the fish very dark, the fries were old, the seafood gumbo was the nastiest I have ever seen 13 grains of rice in the cup of gumbo, hush puppies were not cooked all rhe way. The only thing that we were able to eat was the shrimps. Nothing was cooked fresh and for $36 I could have gone somewheres else.

I grabbed takeout for supper last night for my fiance and myself. Not only was I waiting inline for almost 30 minutes but the food was not worth the money I spent. His fish was stale and hard, & his red beans were cold. I ordered a roast beef poboy with extra meat and lettuce. When I received it, it was fully dressed (I'm allergic to tomatoes) and the bread was severely soggy. I couldn't even eat it. We were both extremely disappointed and will not be returning to this restaurant. I don't even eat fast food, I would have much rathered McDonald's and I would have spent less money as well.

Food was on point especially the bread pudding!!!!
I picked up lunch for myself and a coworker. I ordered the 7 inch Gulf Shrimp Poboy fully dressed and my coworker ordered the Southern Catfish Platter and substituted Swamp Fries (French fries covered cheese with crawfish etouffee poured over the top), a self-served 20 oz Coca-Cola fountain drink plus Hook sauce. My coworker enjoyed her meal, as usual, except there was no Hook sauce in the bag. I enjoyed my shrimp po'boy, but felt the amount of lettuce was skimpy. The shrimp were very fresh and nicely battered and fried. The cashier was patient, friendly, young and new to the register, but was eager to learn and not afraid to ask questions from experienced employees. Initially my order was made to eat-in, but I wanted it to-go. The cashier apologized and the order was reassembled. I would go back to Off The Hook, but for a dine-in experience.

I’ve ordered 4 times in the last 2 months and the bon temps burger has been horrible. Either the onions are burnt , the bun is stale, or the meat is dry like it sat out and was warmed up. Every time I order the chicken wrap they give me a shrimp wrap, which is not very good. This restaurant is too expensive to have such horrible food.
So far we've tried the chicken and sausage gumbo, the red beans and rice, the chicken wrap, the french fries, hush puppies, the fried catfish platter, and the bread pudding. All were very good. The servers have been wonderful. I definitely recommend this place.
