There is NOTHING better in this entire world than their coleslaw! Let's not forget about the outstanding potato salad! Best pork and chicken stew too! Service is great and always provided with a smile. The restaurant is clean, and it's a well oil machine! Wait time is next to nothing and the food is always fresh and hot!

I would recommend everyone to go to this restaurant. The staff was so amazing and friendly. Helped me pick out exactly what I wanted. And the food was absolutely delicious. Plus the portions are huge! 10/10 would recommend and will hopefully be back!

Food is always very good. The atmosphere is basic, with no frills. It is an average sit down dinner type establishment. I definitely recommend the Pork and Sausage Sauce Piquant. This is a regular stop on my lunch merry go around during the week.
I’m not typically one to leave a review but the service was absolutely phenomenal. I had my buddy and my son with me and everyone was super sweet and I’m not sure who the person was that gave my son some cookies but he definitely enjoyed it and was happy. Thank y’all!

Local gem. Way more than just jambalaya. Daily specials are wonderful. My favorite is their Charlie Johnson on Mondays and Fridays. It's stewed chicken and pork with smothered bell peppers and onions in gravy served over rice. Delicious! Their Shrimp Creole, and hamburger steak are on point as well. Fast, friendly service and good value makes this a real go to place.

If you like restaurants that give you the kind of food you'd get at a family cookout, this is for you. If you want professionally cooked food that hasn't been sitting out all morning, I'd recommend trying somewhere else. The food comes in styrofoam boxes like at a cafeteria, which is good if you'd like it to go, but less than attractive if you're dining in. I got a hamburger steak when I went with my family this week, one of their specials of the day; it came out in about five seconds, which - combined with the fact that the meat and my mac and cheese side were cold - goes to show that they'd had the dish ready for a while. I understand that having food pre-made saves time, but you have to keep it heated properly until served. Trying my sister's dish, their jambalaya, which is supposed to be their bread and butter, was nothing special either, and lacking flavour in my opinion. Again, good if you'd like something fast and filling, but I wasn't a fan and won't be returning.

Great atmosphere and people were nice. Food made me sick though. I know for a fact my food poisoning came from this place cause it was the only food I had consumed that day. Won’t ever go back again. Not giving them the chance to serve me soured food again.
