I had ordered a gordita and I specifically told them to add me some avocado and they did not the gorditas were good I don't like the fact that they don't put enough beans and meat for the price they charge

REALLY GOOD FOOD!! First time I’ve eaten here and it did NOT disappoint! The food was amazing, only two things I can say 1) watch out for the salsa it’s got a kick, and whatever the little container of green stuff was(not guac), it’s Hot! 2) I was a bit taken back that an iced tea was $4! I’ll be back just might have to get water…

I came to Gonzales for an appointment & noticed this small market & restaurant as I was leaving town. Everything about the exterior screams "great abuelita food," & after looking up some online reviews, I knew I was spot on.I got the Friday special, a steaming bowl of caldo de camarones. After the first sip, I ordered 16 tacos to go, for dinner back home. They have the usual suspects: tripa, barbacoa, lengua, shrimp & carnitas. The family devoured them like we were Dust Bowl locusts.I don't usually review restaurants after one visit, but I could eat here 50 times & not get a bad meal. Trust me.

It was mmeeh... acceptable. In my opinion the michelada is very spicy, I don't know what's going on but the waitresses serve you like they're angry and they want to seat you wherever they want. Of course, the service depends on the tip that makes you want to leave, and they have an advertisement on the box where it says that the tip is the waitress's salary, implying that they do not pay them enough, now it is understood why they serve like that. Dirty bathrooms. The fresh waters are very delicious. The fajita was very seasoned or something because it didn't even taste like a fajita, it looked like ground beef. Large place with parking. Thank God they made us separate accounts and we all left tips, one feels obligated to know how they are abused. Anyway, I don't think I'll go back.
