“20240329 This restaurant is beautiful. The decor of the bar area is amazing. The bartender was very nice and helpful. I ordered to go so that we can eat outside with my pups. The crab and mango cake was delicious! The red fish was great. So was the shrimp po boy. The food is a bit expensive. I learned at the gift shop that if we eat at this restaurant, the admission to the garden is free. This makes the food price less expensive. The outdoor dining tables are located next to this beautiful water fountain.“

“This is one of my favorite restaurants. "Restaurant" is not the right word. "Experience" would be more accurate. I'll start with food. On the menu there is a pumpkin crawfish bisque that when I initially saw that combo I turned my nose up at it but decided to give it a try. I am so glad that I did - unlike anything I've ever had! I'm always so torn. Trying to decide what to get. For a first time, or I would have to insist on the eggplant Napoleon. It's piled high with so much lump crab meat. I don't know how they offer it for the price it is. But the pork chop with the sweet potato, mash and brussels sprouts... OMG! The service is always great! You're given a basket of breads and biscuits for the table with a couple of butter options. The butter with the Steen's syrup is my favorite. on our last visit, we were celebrating a birthday. The birthday girl was surprised with an array of sweets. But as I said, this is more than just a restaurant, it's an experience. Plan extra time before your reservation or after so that you can view the gorgeous grounds! From the house to the gardens to the fountains to the covered archway, you're going to need at least an extra hour for exploring .“

“Florida and her team did a Fantastic job for my friend Beverly's Birthday. I got the Taste of Louisiana and it was seasoned perfectly. The crab cake was delicious. I usually don't care for fried fish on a platter, but this fish was yummy. The brie and crab soup was excellent. I never ran dry on water. The staff is Wonderful, because they don't leave the empty plates on the table for you to mess up your clothes. Consistently Excellent. Highly recommend.“

“So I don’t write reviews , this actually might be the first review I ever wrote. But me and my girlfriend had an amazing time! Chris was our server and he was amazing, he definitely made the experience what it was , from the drinks he made , the conversation he had and just his hospitality in general was top tier. We loved the food and we loved the drinks. Even the bathrooms were up to to par lol. Don’t hesitate in the slightest to come here! it’s great and ask for Chris because he is amazing , we had an amazing time!“

“So service can be a 10/10 one day and a 2/10 another *this applies to pick ups to*.Busy or lull doesn't seem to change that aspect. That out of the way, it's AMAZING food, HUGE portions, even if you get it delivered, or go there. To good to pass up. Thank you for being here.“
