Had THE BEST MOLCAJETÈ. Sat us right down and waitress was very attentive. If you want something that brings you back to your Hispanic roots this would definitely give you the vibes .

Things started off badly with some idiot pulling in right next to us as my companion was trying to exit from the passenger side. Then a note on the door that they no longer have a liquor license. Was expecting bad food but was pleasantly surprised. The chips and dip was good. I had a craving for rice and bean which were also good. My companion had fajitas which she thought was excellent. The people were nice and the food hit the spot. Can't complain. will return.

Los Compadres is located on Highway 23 in Gretna. The food & service is very good. We love there PolloLoco. It is a chicken & rice dish. Grilled chicken, Mexican rice, cheese, & Pico de gallo. Is also is served with flour tortillas. The portions are very large. Our server Gabbi is very nice & alway very helpful.

Great food!' Like the atmosphere. Family oriented and also a bar with TV's. Military discount as well!

I went to El Patron for my mother's birthday and we spent so much money on yt washed food. LITERALLY the queadailla was two regular tortillas with cheese and folded..the margaritas swirl was so diluted. The mandority tipping made me mad because the servers was so bad..everything was awfulREADLos Comprades are waaaay better than El Patron. Recently moving from Cali where the Mexican food is authentic and cheap, this place is your best bet. The drinks are great..got a tiny bit tipsy after sharing the alcoholic Horchata with my bf and pairing it with my drink. The al pastor tacos are so good. I literally had El patrons tacos and It was dry and as. I also tried the torta burrito and quesadillas from Los Comprades...literally no complaints. I hate the music and environment El Patron tries to create, trying to bring the Mexican aesthetic instead the authenticity..it literally made for non latinos

Came on cinco de Mayo. There was extremely loud music playing outside. Had to get the party started I guess. We were promptly seated and brought chips and salsa. Salsa was ok. Chips did not taste very good. Like maybe they were old or the grease they were fried in was old. We ordered the Speedy Gonzales dip. It was pretty good. We ordered a pitcher of margaritas. It was too sweet and had no taste of tequila. Do not recommend getting pitchers. We were brought free shots of house tequila. These were half shots. I poured mine into my margarita. Much better! I ordered 4 tacos: pastor, carnitas, chorizo, and barbacoa. The pastor and carnitas were kinda dry. Chorizo was good. Barbacoa was great! Service was slow. Things were being forgotten. Food was ok. Some of this I can understand because it was cinco de Mayo. Very crazy day for Mexican restaurants. Some of it is just the restaurant. Probably won't return

Was craving tacos on this Tuesday night and I tried this place because it was close to my house. I checked to see if they had any specials, and they did, but only for dine-in. ($1.50 each) For take out it was regular priced, which was $2.75 each. I ordered 2 carne asada tacos, one pastor, one brisket, and one shredded beef taco. I wanted barbacoa, but they didn't have anymore. The tacos were good, but one of them was too salty. I also ordered queso w/ chips and horchata; both were a 10/10. My brother got the steak quesadilla and he enjoyed it, but to me, it was a bit small compared to other places I've bought from. I'm glad I also bought the salsa verde because the red sauce was too spicy, which is what came with the tacos. I mixed it with the salsa verde and it was the perfect combination. When walking in the restaurant to pick up my food, it seemed busy and it looked small. The workers here are really nice too. I would definitely order food from here again.

I came in for a late lunch/early dinner. It's in a strip mall with loads of parking. Inside is nice, typical older mexican restaurant feel..kind of dated, but clean. Chips and salsa were set down. I ordered guacamole, and a carne asada burrito combo. The guacamole was just ok... it had some flavor, but not a whole lot. The burrito came with mole sauce on it (love that) rice and beans. The meat was ok, a little over salted... the mole was real good. I liked the rice with peas and a little potato. Beans were pretty average. Service was a little slow. But overall, ok. I'm giving 4 stars, but it was more 3.5.

Don't sleep on this place. Recently visited this restaurant for the 2nd time. Paco was our server. He was GREAT! Personality plus, attentive, quick and friendly. On my first visit I discovered this place serves shrimp ceviche. Its on their "secret" menu. It's DELICIOUS! I ordered it again for my second visit. I will probably only order it from now on because it's just that good. I am curious as to what else is on their secret menu?

Went several times before I decided to rate. Food is bland. And I'm pretty sure they put no alcohol in my margarita. I got a large and felt nothing.

I have been several times and it's been average. Tonight my grandma had dinner with a friend and ordered to go to bring me home dinner. She ordered taquitos for herself and said they were so greasy she couldn't eat more than 1. I ordered a chalupa to go, when she brought it home it was a very thin layer of beans on a flat hard shell taco covered in lettuce with cheese, guacamole and tomatoes. More like a tostada than a chalupa. Won't be going back.

Underwhelming. And disappointing at times. Upon being seated at the back large party table our group noticed dead bugs under the table. It was obvious the dead bugs had been there for days at least. The waitress moved us to another table; however, the wait staff did not attempt to clean the area while we were there for the next hour plus. The food was average at best. Nothing anyone from our 10 person party ate was rated above average. I ordered the carne asada tacos with rice and beans; since it was Taco Tuesday they only cost me $1 a piece. The carne asada had little flavor and I did not finish the rice and beans. My meal was uninspiring and I will not return. There is better mexican food right across the street. The prices were great...because I would have hated to have paid more for this level of food. Las Cazuelas needs to have secret shopper come in and assess what they are providing to their patrons.

I came in looking Caldo de Pollo. On the menu is listed Grandmas chicken soup. I figured it would be the same thing. Boy was I wrong. It was a enchilada broth with pieces of corn and black beans inside. The women came to check on my after a minute and I let her know there was no chicken in the soup. She said it is very small. I found 3 pieces. I took off all the pieces of chips that came with as a topping as they were just in the way. Yes I ate this. Why? Because I'm sick and I needed something for my throat. No I will not be coming back here.
