Tony Mandina's has been around for a long time. There is a reason for it. It is still a friendly family owned restaurant. Any restaurant with the owner's sitting at the table in the front with a welcoming smile and under their watchful eye is has great chance of being great.

Food was good but small portions for Italian food. Service was 1 star. Had 10 of us and young girl talked so low we had to keep asking her to repeat. She NEVER checked on drink refills. Had to ask bus boys to refill our drinks every time. Felt like they stuck this young inexperienced girl server on us because we had a large group. Too many excellent Italian restaurants on both side river to accept Bad service! Not going back.
I go specifically for the Chicken Lindsey Grace. I wish I could try other things but I just love it so much. Wonderful service, great atmosphere and amazing food, all 5 minutes from my house. What more could I ask for?

Tony Mandina's is hands down the best!!!!! The food is amazing. The service is unbelievable. Everyone we encounter was happy and pleasant. Highly recommend. This was our second time having Gage as our server. Never change Gage!!!!! We had fun with you!!!!

Very good Italian fare in a cozy setting. Had the veal parmigiana. The "Red Gray" as we say in New Orleans was out of this world.

Great food. Service was rushed, entre came before we finished our starters. Staff kept trying to take our plate's before we were finished eating, so I suggest not ordering entrees until after I you have your starter. Beautiful inside but very loud. I will definitely go back.

Enjoyed our gathering of friends for a Christmas party. Waitress was friendly and interactive. Food and drinks were presented appealing and tasted delicious . Portions are great for the price. Atmosphere is cozy and inviting/ beautifully decorated for the holidays. Wonderful experience.
It was very rainy, but the doorman made sure we got inside right away. The restaurant was filled, but we had reservations and were seated right away. Dirk was our waiter. He and all the team serving us were attentive. The food was delicious and plentiful. A visit to Tony Mandina's is stepping into a throwback era - the owners sit at the first table and greet every guest, a pianist plays old standards on a baby grand, all the waitstaff are perfectly groomed, dressed in starched white shirts, bow ties, black trousers and vests, with impeccable manners, and ready to serve. The meal was delicious - artichoke soup, fried eggplant with marinara, fried oysters with a honeyed sauce, and Veal Classico. Enjoy your visit!

The food was excellent. The oyster appetizer was to die for. I also loved the veal Picata. The waiter was adorable, and the service was excellent. The whole atmosphere has gotten so much better along with the food. My go to spot on the Westbank.
