The prices are the best we seen in a long time. I got the big breakfast that came with a waffle, three eggs, potatoes, toast, and bacon for $8.50! The potatoes tasted so good with a seasoning, then fried with a crispy crust. Well done! All other food was bland. Obviously, they let you season it the way you want. If you are looking for a less expensive meal, this is the place. Our server was very nice and attentive, but the rest of the staff may have had a bad morning already. Just eat and enjoy, then leave. You won’t spend much money here. Great low prices dating back 20 years ago. When you walk in, it will feel like you entered a time capsule. Enjoy and save money!

The absolute best country cooking around! They are fast and delicious, exactly what my pregnant heart craves ? BE SURE TO CALL ABOUT THE SPECIALS ???Those who work there are friendly and the kindest people around. The atmosphere is amazing and makes the food taste even better in my opinion (and that's saying something because I always get takeout!!). If you love country food and are in the Hammond area, Annette's is an absolute must!!

Been wanting to go visit here. They are closed when im off work. Finally made it in. Not bad, food was tasty, can tell its homemade. Gravy fries and a cheeseburger. Can always judge a place by the burger. They have weekday specials for around 10$. great place to eat at a slow pace.

I'll pulled off here to go potty & have breakfast and the coffee was spot on. I didn't need sugar which means the beans are good and evenly roasted. However, they do not have any alternative milk if you're lactose intolerant. I asked for some, was told they only have whole milk and was given a teeny cup and then charge $2.25! Such charlatans (I've included the receipt), I had the biscuit and sausage gravy. It was okay, but nothing special. I didn't really like it because the gravy was too creamy (and I'm wondering how that's possible). I'd advise going to another place to eat. Also, it somehow took 30 minutes plus to get me my food. P.S. they gave me a lid for soda pop instead of coffee so now as I'm driving down the road I have to take the lid off and risk wearing my coffee to get a drink.
