Super cute place in downtown Hammond! Had to check it out after seeing it on TikTok while in town for a sports tournament. Great treats, brought them home to Lafayette after the games, and the whole family enjoyed them. The brownies were especially good.

Literally the best cookie I have ever had. The king cake cookie is to die for. I'm literally watching a Post Malone concert and writing to just give this cookie the JUSTICE it deserves. Their other stuff is great too. The cakes and brownies are just okay though to be fair.

Not enough good pastries even though you just opened this location but you have other stores probably hopefully you get more goodies soon and the chocolate chip cookie ball was good but the chocolate cupcake was not it's too much with the chips and not

Wonderful customer service and delicious baked goods all in a cute pink atmosphere. What more do you want? I got a box of some cookies, a brookie, and pop tarts. My family loves all of these. Thank you!

This bakery is absolutely beautiful, I love small businesses especially near downtown but this one was a letdown. The last few times I’ve gone the pop tarts and cookies have been stale and did not taste as good as when Batter first opened sadly.

The best bakery in our area!! The brookies are amazing, and their homemade pop tarts and cinnamon rolls can't be beat!

We were going to BATTER every single day, spending $30+ each visit. But after my MIL and I went this last time, we refuse to go back.We always overlook the employees rude attitudes, because we assume they’re college kids- they don’t really need their job. This is just “fun” for them. But we went in for a cake slice and we’re told “we have more but I don’t feel like cutting it so you’ll have to get something else”. My MIL and I look at each other and we’re like okayyyy then.We then get something else, get something for the kids and I tap my card- literally by myself since the cashier goes to the back and completely ignores us after giving us the total.Never got the receipt. Or the bags we asked for.

Batter was my favorite place because of the brownies and poptartsBut until they replace rude employees I’ll be going elsewhere. It’s obvious when someone hates their job and these young girls need better people skills

I saw this place on her TikTok's and we had a chance to visit in the Spring. Cute store and the cookies were incredible. I talked to the owner and another employee. Both were so sweet. I wish I lived closer.

One of my co workers raved about Batter and I knew I had to visit the bakery myself. The shop was so beautiful! Everything was pink! The employees were very nice when I walked in. I’ve tried several cookies that were included in their weekly cookie collection. The shape of them was really unique, I have not seen cookies in that shape before. Pretty cool! I truly wanted to like these cookies but after making a few trips to this shop and trying these cookies a few times, they aren’t good. The texture and consistency is odd. The cookies fall apart immediately after one bite. They aren’t soft, or intact. The unique flavors of the cookies are not present and if it is, it’s very subtle. I tried the chai latte cookie and couldn’t taste the chai at all. I was left with just a bland sugary taste. I could taste the red velvet in the red velvet Oreo, but it was subtle and the Oreo was dry. I unfortunately wasn’t wowed or blown away. Again really wanted to love these cookies but am disappointed. Wish they could do something about their recipe, I hope they can find a way to bring out the flavor and make it more sensational and make the texture more flawless. I hope this bakery can succeed! I know it can!

Did not find the owner to have good customer service. Staff was friendly. I want to support small business but after being charged $78 for a cookie cake because “it’s already inventoried by the slice” is absurd. Owners of small businesses that make up these rules really lack on service and it shows. If anyone buys an entire cookie cake (whether ordered in advance or not) should be charged for an entire cake and not by the slice. I can already tell by previous responses that “going above and beyond backfires so we won’t do that anymore” etc. that’s all fine, I’ll just go to great American cookie and never return.
