“What can I say? The food was amazing, and service was great. Today was my 1st time eating there. I ordered Chicken Quesadillas with the loaded fries, and shared some BBQ wings with my bf. The Chicken Quesadillas were the best I've tasted and the loaded fries didn't miss! Their wings are good too. I'll definitely be going back again.“
“I decided to give po boys another shot after having one at a good restaurant in Ponchatoula.I am a truck driver and I parked at the truck stop across the street. At first glance upon walking up, it doesn't look like it would be good. The outside decor is pretty decrepit looking.The tables were dirty, But as I was eating, they all got cleaned.It seems a little overpriced, but I have a feeling it's because they don't seem like they get a lot of business.I ordered the shrimp Philly po boy and the sliced jalapeños. Great texture of French bread. The shrimp was flavored well I do feel they need at least 1 or 2 more ingredients for the sandwich, however. It was only shrimp, cheese and onions.For the atmosphere, I rated what I did because of the outdated décor and I need an environment that is happy to be in. There's not even some quiet background music. I was literally the only one inside with 2 other people that were outside and left 3 minutes after I got here.This was Sunday at 4 PM. I wanted to read 5 stars so bad, But I had to struggle with the atmosphere and the pricing of the food. Also I have solid up all the reviews that just seem like people don't want to be there.I've always been one to say, if you have time to lean, you have time to clean.Keep up the good work and continue on improvements.“
“The few times I've went the food was made fresh and very good. The girl at the counter just doesn't have good customer service skills. She doesn't mean any harm, she's just country and probably family so she doesn't put anything into it. Can turn people off.“
“Why does churches in Hammond Louisiana taste better than churches in Brookshire TX? Is it because the chicken tastes like it was cooked within the last 15 minutes? Is it because the chicken is hot and juicy? Is it a different kind of chicken? Maybe it has to do with the time of day that I showed up.The sides all tastes the same. 2 out of 5 stars. But the chicken is definitely better in Louisiana. I have the definite feeling that it has something to do with how recently the chicken was cooked.I guess it could also be because this is Easter Sunday in the south. And while most of you are congregating with family, eating a large meal. Some of us who are thousands of miles away from home are eating churches, Texas chicken in Hammond Louisiana.Thank you to all the hard-working people at this store.
