They do not have clean tables and they really don't care either. I have went to several sides and crumbs left all over..the food is good but they only care about the tip..I've been to much cleaner stores. I will try another store next time.

Poor management. Had her young children working there. Too much family drama going on. Cook doesn't know how to make an omelet. Would not recommend. It was a lot better 4 yrs ago when we were here. Also bathroom needs a LOTof attention.

Hammond has 4 waffle houses. I'm guessing this one is mostly for people passing through on I12. It's definitely the most convenient one if that's you. But this is definitely the worst of the 4 waffle houses in Hammond. The service isn't good, but I wouldn't call it terrible. They weren't rude, just slow. What really sticks out is that it's super dirty. Not everything HAS to be sticky.Also I don't know if she was a manager, she was dressed differently than the rest of the workers. She was having a good chat with some of the customers about getting super drunk and doing raunchy stuff because "that's how Louisiana girls do it"

I’ve never been to a Waffle House where the staff doesn’t greet you, doesn’t ask if you are dining in or take out. Hell the only two people I actually see working is the grill cook & managers. I don’t see a need to have three servers if only one them is gonna semi do their job. Soooo yeah I’ll definitely never come to this Waffle House again.

I got asked at least 10 times if I’m going to pay a 20% to go charge. It got to the point where I actually had to raise my voice, and make them confirm, that they know, I’m planning to pay the to go charge. They have a very small sign to inform people about this charge, and the person taking your order says NOTHING about it. 2 customers, who were here when I walked in, found out after their food was finished, they were unaware, got upset, and left empty handed.I took the 20% out of their gratuity, and I usually over tip.I sensed an attitude, of them expecting customers to kiss their behinds.I asked for extra syrup for my waffles, one of them told me “no”!Forcing a gratuity charge on to go orders shows that this restaurant has ZERO class, and their behavior confirms this.My experience was generally unpleasant, and I do not recommend this restaurant.
