Genuinely one of the friendliest people, once you walk in you’re treated with respect. I recently tried the shrimp po'boy at this fantastic at this place, and let me tell you, it was a flavor explosion! But what really made the experience unforgettable was the warm and friendly atmosphere created by the staff. Their hospitality added an extra layer of enjoyment to the meal. If you're in the mood for a mouthwatering po'boy and a welcoming vibe, this place is a must-visit!

Great local spot with no pretensions when it comes to getting food with no frills. Po boy sandwiches are a New Orleans staple ranging from a gravy smothered roast beef one to fried seafood served on fresh local French bread. You can get one at several local chains or tourist traps in the New Orleans area but we wanted one from a place respected by locals and off the beaten trail. We stayed outside New Orleans in Harahan and just looked via maps for places to get po boys. This one popped up and we tried it. They were fantastic!I had a ten inch fried shrimp po boy that was piled high with fresh fried shrimp topped lettuce and pickles. My wife got a six inch fried shrimp with similar toppings while my kids got a fried catfish one and a meatball one. All of them enjoyed them. They were about $12 for a ten inch and $8 for a six inch.Like I said, it looks like it hasn’t been touched in decades, but that sometimes indicates a place that doesn’t need to change all that much. This place fits that bill.

Chosen Inspiration

So I wanted a shrimp po boy, and I decided to try this little spot bc the pictures of their shrimp po boy looked really good. So I get there, looks old and stale in the inside but whatever. I was immediately greeted, and the woman took my order. I sat down at the table to wait for my food. While waiting, I had my head down scrolling through my phone. Baby, when I picked my head up, the girl was grabbing my French bread from the toaster with her whole hand with no gloves on. Child, I left out of that place so fast and will never think to go back. It should be against the law to handle food without gloves. An they all looked dirty back there. I was in shock when I saw this girl grab the whole bread with no gloves. I'll never forget what I saw. An you owners don't get on here lying bc proof goes further than a lie. Be careful out here eating from these places.

Dont expect nothing special other than the food. If your looking to eat good and fill up, this place is by far one of the best ones to go get full on. Great service, all the ladies and the guy that runs it. Very attentive, and always giving people a smile. Dollar for dollar is the cheapest place to eat at for the amount of food youll get. The food taste is great, everything is made for that day, One of the best roast beef poboys i have had, and if you want to eat the big poboy, it can feed 3 people by itself. specials all week. For less than $12 you get so much food you might not finish it, and if you do you will not be disappointed.
