Had the pleasure of meeting the owner Juan- he's a solid guy and amazing chef. I let him choose my dinner and it was extremely far from disappointing. He made me spaghetti with his homemade sauce and a side of fried veal. Such a simple meal yet taste was beyond simple. What also made the food taste better was the excellent customer service Juan provided. He's passionate about his craft and that's a wonderful thing to see in person. Bless you Juan and good luck !

This is a hidden gym for breakfast in the River Ridge Harahan area. We had six people in our group and everyone’s breakfast was excellent. If you happen to come on the weekend, don’t pass up the cinnamon rolls. We got an order for the table and they were delicious.

Went to Yaya’s for dinner last night with a party of eight. It was absolutely some of the best Italian food I have ever had. We started with the cubed eggplant appetizer, delicious. Just about everyone got a different entrée and each comment was extremely favorable. The portions were large, but not to the extreme, the guys were happy. The service was good, very attentive, even for our party of eight. I would highly recommend you give this new Yaya’s Italian restaurant a try for dinner. Chef Juan is from Sandros Trattoria in Metairie.

YaYa's provided excellent service and a fantastic meal. Everything was delicious, well-prepared, and beautifully presented. We particularly enjoyed their unique French toast. The owner and staff were very friendly and accommodating during our visit.

Had a group monthly dinner that was arranged at another restaurant....when we got there they said we would have to wait an hour. One of our members suggested we go to YaYa's.That was the best suggestion he has had this year.Business is slow in that area, and no one was in the restaurant...made me a little hesitant, but Juan thr owner greeted us, called his staff back that he sent home and started prepping food.I was very impressed. YaYa's is now Italian food. And very good.I started with a house salad with the house Italian. The dressing was perfectly balanced with oil and flavor, not vinegary.Split a Caprese salad with my son, was surprised that it did not have a Balsamic reduction sauce, but the sauce they used was light and refreshing.Main course was lasagna. I typically do not order lasagna. I was very impressed. The sauce was not sweet, not bitter...there was plenty of cheese and layers of pasta. The slab....yes slab sat in a bowl took up the entire bowl and was almost twice as tall.We finished off with an order of Pumpernickel and white chocolate bread pudding. I don't like bread pudding but it was different...still not a fan but it was pretty good.Service and food were A+ and we will definitely go back.

Great atmosphere, great food! The food is delicious and creative. I generally order from the specials because they are so different than what I would generally do. They never disappoint. Amazing food! If you haven't tried it then you should! If you haven't been in a while go back- so worth it

Our new favorite breakfast place, I can't believe we've just learned about YaYa's!! The employees are super awesome people and the place is just perfect. What I like the most is that you can see the whole kitchen and the cooking process. We had the breakfast on the go and the cast iron skillet... they were both incredibly delicious. We also had a side of biscuits and gravy... that gravy was the best I've ever had in my entire life. I wanted to drink a full glass of it hahah! YaYa's and its employees are just awesomeness
