Dishonest. The food and pitcher of margueritas are actually good and I like(d) Los Tres Amigos. But this is the 2nd mexican restaurant that added money to my credit card charge when I got my statement. Hicienda de Leon also increased the ticket, more that the cost + tip. I eat out allot& I give appropriate tips. Watch your money.

Used to really good Mexican food in Houston, this was not good. Surprised at the ratings, we were mislead. Enchilada sauce was pasty and worst I've had. Rest of group had only complaints on their food as well.

One of the best Mexican restaurants on the Bestbank in my opinion. I have been here many times and I have never left dissatisfied. Pre-Covid one could get $1 tacos on Tuesday. I do not know if this special is still available. Cozy ambiance. My favorite dish is the enchilada plate. Shredded beef is awesome. Spanish rice is just ok. One is given complimentary chips and salsa which is always great. Service is good.

I've been to Los Tres Amigos only about twice a year in the last 15y. Not great, but usually satisfying. My kids like the Sopa de Mariscos. The guacamole is good, so is the standard red salsa and chips. The rice and beans are tasty and good. Today I ordered the enchiladas de queso with salsa verde and was very dissatisfied. The enchiladas were pan fried and very chewy, needing a knife to cut them, and the cheese used was shredded Colby-jack, also too firm. Not good and not traditional, and very greasy. I eat enchiladas de queso at most Mexican restaurants, and this is the worst version I have ever had. I let the waitress know and she asked if I had ever had them there before since they are always made that way. (I had, but 2 years prior and better). She didn't seem to care that I had an opinion about the dish and didn't offer to discuss with anyone. I didn't want any refund, and I'm posting this only to let the restaurant management know so they can improve this dish for the better.

Today is the last time we eat at this place anymore, this was the second time we had sour rotten beans, once maybe, but twice ? Then they charged us full price, never again. All these places don't have real good food it's all boxed and packaged El Paso's, Los Poncho's, Los com-padres, etc. We'll make our own fresh food at home and know what we're eating. people don't have money to waste on this trash food.

The Texanos Nachos. With the shrimp, steak, and chicken, the sautéed bell peppers and onions and three different types of cheese. 100% what you should get every time. That and the big guacamole. Oh best believe me their enchiladas are great, I'm sure their other menu items are also fantastic. But what is so so so special about Los Tres Amigos that gets me driving to the West bank because you can't find them anywhere else is those fantastic, unique, and stupidly delicious nachos.
2 orders in a row these people screwed up. 1st time order a platter they left off a taco. give them another chance they send only the taco! refused a refund went through door dash to complain and to get a refund! this place has gone bad really bad! to many mexican restuaurants to close buy to settle for this trash!!!!

If I could take my one star back I would. I ordered a specific item on the menu via Uber eats for my lunch break. Spent close to 20$ and they did not prepare my chimichanga correctly. I specifically picked the menu item because I was covered in cheese sauce and had all the ingredients I was hoping for. Instead I got this s**** I will never purchase again.

Would not recommend. Too many potatoes added to the ground beef as a filler. Drinks were a little weak. Meat had very little seasoning.. Service as slow.

Ordered my food through grub hub and nothing I got was what I had originally ordered on top of the food I did receive was terrible

This place is big time hit or miss. I think always pretty bad but it is very close to home. My friends love it though. I usually get tacos and they are always cold and tasteless. Maybe this is because the taco meat is made early and sits in pot all day at room temp. The fajita plate don't sizzle when comes out and meat looks like little rat turds. They're queso dip is great. It's is needed to put on top of tacos and burritos to make them edible. When I get tired of Taco Bell, I'll go to Los Tres to get "real" food and always disappointed. When you go get something on menu that they have to make fresh and maybe you'll be satisfied. I suggest El Patron, them dudes got it going on. 5 star fajitas!!!
