Absolutely TERRIBLE. Mall Chinese is far, FAR better than what they are passing off as Asian food here. Everything was terrible. Bland. Flavorless. Cannot upgrade white rice to fried rice without paying for a full priced fried rice entree. Apps were mushy. Fried mushy food. Service was rude and hateful servers.

After waiting for a hour ordered sweet and sour shirmp the shirmp was cold and old they had the nerve to give me sliced up onions on the side with some dried up pineapple. Very very dissatisfied would never ever go back there again. My order was to go so they just trew something together if I'm in the casino I would tell everyone inline about my experience with the food

Had a free $20 food credit from the casino... That's about all I can say... I got general TSO chicken...tasteless and bland, served with plain white rice... Glad it was free or I'd be really mad

I am genuinely surprised by the other reviews. My husband and I were visiting NOLA and stopped into Boomtown for dinner and a place to sleep. It was hard to find a restaurant in the casino WITH a bar. We settled here for food and when the server found out we were looking for drinks too, she went to the other bar in the casino and grabbed us beers. She was so sweet and accommodating.Also, the pho here is AMAZING. I am from the east coast and it blew me away. Very authentic and delicious. Serving was huuuuugee and reasonably priced. This place is a well kept secret in the city apparently by the lack of reviews.Ambiance is nice. And it seemed other patrons were happy with their food. There was a long line for take out when we showed up. If we lived locally, I would for sure be a repeat customer getting their pho. ??

Ate here last night. It took the waitress about 20 minutes to greet me after I sat down. She was VERY slow! I got the egg-rolls and they were REALLY GOOD, But the sweet/sour sauce lacked seasoning. Next, I ordered the pepper steak. Probably the WORST pepper steak I have ever eaten in a restaurant. It had NO seasoning whatsoever and Was very tough and dry. I couldn't finish it. I just paid my bill and LEFT!!

It's Pho time! I dipped into Boomtown Casino for a little slots n such. I wasn't particularly hungry, but as I left, I could smell the enticing aroma pf pho. The actual restuarant is closed, so they have set up sort of temporary, pop up type station. Only a few food options are offered right now. Once they told me they could pack my Pho to go, I was sold. Boomtown still allows smoking..GROSS...and I don't like eating in a smoky venue so I was glad I was able to take it to go. I ordered the beef brisket pho. It was sliced a lil weird to me but it was VERY flavorful. My sprouts didn't seem super fresh but they were fine when added to the broth. Everything was nicely packed and the taste of everything was really good. Jalapeno peppers were really fresh and packed a punch. This was a nice alternative to all of the heavier food options offered in Boomtown.

Most horrible food we've had in a long time. Tasted like it was cooked in rancid grease. Ditched most of it, still had the pleasure of being sick all night. Avoid!

I used to get fried rice all the time 7 years ago but now it’s the most blandest rice I’ve ever had. White rice tastes better.

I have been going to this Casino, since the 1st week it open. You had to stand under a tent and wait until so many people get off the Boat before you can board the Boat. And it was a different Boat back then also. I really enjoy going there i have won and lost there. I think it's time for a up-grade on the Bathrooms on the Boat. The 2nd and 3rd floor bathrooms are nasty. It always smells and there is Piss on the floor and dried spit on the Walls. Can anyone Aim? The Whole Boat needs to be clean. The Carpet smells. But i always get very good Service there. The Wait staff is very nice and will go out of there way to help you out. I always feel safe there. They should build a Land Base Casino there. Get rid of that Old Rusty A** Boat. And Bring Back the Sushi Bar. Keep the Pier 4 open more then just the weekend. Open some New Restaurants. Bring in some Top Name Bands and Well Known Comedians. Bring Back the Shrimp and Chili Cook Off. other then that . I Love The Place.
Shawanda and Jasmine ( front desk agents) were extremely kind to everyone. They wished everyone a Merry Christmas. They always had a smile on their faces. They were eager to assist guests. Housekeeping did a great job keeping the room clean. There is complementary Peet’s coffee located by the front desk. The coffee was fresh and never ran out.

Hotel was very nice once inside. Neighborhood heavy industrial and a bit sketchy. Way out with nothing around it. Rooms were very comfortable and baths were updated and large. Huge walk-in showers very very nice-BUT shower floors were dangerously slippery. I put wash cloths on floor inside shower . Major hazard. Several restaurants in adjoining building with casino. Very smoky in casino. Drinks served only if you’re playing. Food was passable on the high end and just plain horrible on the low end. Day at bar one night for 30 minutes without being served, very busy but we were barely acknowledged. We were there with a large organized group ( 90 people) with our own Hospitality room and Tyrone was terrific every night, he took great care of us and is an asset to the hotel. Other staff were also great and took care of all our needs. Our complaints were only the two I’ve mentioned but both were big deals. I would not stay here again.

Always Fresh! I visited while my boyfriend played inside the Casino and everytime I go to Boomtown I crave it!! Very tasty!! My new spot!

Had a sample appetizer to go. Average, run if the mill. Went again the following evening with a comp at 9:50PM & they wouldn't seat us because they closed at 10. Said I could place a to go order. Tried to order duck, they were out, then tried to order the shaken beef, they were out. Got disgusted & left. This restaurant, the buffet & the main fine dining restaurant were all closed. Only a grab & go sandwich shop was open. Hello ??? This is a casino, how do you not have a restaurant open past 10:00 ? I've never been to a casino that didn't have a sit down dining restaurant open until at least midnight. Ridiculous for a casino to not have food available for a hungry gambler. Good luck with that casino model, don't wonder what happened to your clientele.
