Delicious boiled crabs. Excellent onion rings. The interior of the restaurant is beautiful. Service wasn’t too bad. Hot food was hot.

The crawfish was good. Highly recommend. It was a good value as well. The two ladies that work there were really hospitable and Big Al even spoke with us. When I come back to New Orleans I know where to go.

Went to Big Al’s three times first time we went we ordered a half of order onion rings when they came it was like four smashed soggy flat onion rings we said we will never order again also ordered 3 lbs crawfish they were bland and soft my husband could not eat them ended up taking them home and threw them away.The third time we went we ordered oyster Poboys and they came out with small oysters cold and they hardly had any on there we ate them but by the time my husband got to the second half he may have had two oysters on it so we told the waitress she had Al come over he apologized and went to the kitchen waitress came back and said they were going to make a another poboy to go Al never came back then we get 5 new oysters to put on what was left of the bread Al never came back no poboy to go and no one made sure we were satisfied. Al went and sat with his friends and never checked with us again we paid and left . And back to the onion rings. We found out that we were jipped on the onion rings because while we were there the third time people ordered half orders and you would have thought it was full orders we know because we asked. I’m sorry we will never go back and do not recommend this place to eat .

We had an amazingly good time! The food selection and drinks were sooo delicious and the price is right $14.95 Mon-Sat. Lunch buffet! Hipe to return soon! Great selection of entrees, sides, salads, desserts, even gumbo! Nice off the beaten path, ob WB expressway in Harvey!! Go try it, you wont be disappointed!
Owner is exceptionally kind and responsive. We were given gumbo to try, and the food was fantastic. Highly recommend this for a quick bite. It's definitely a hidden treasure - hard to find and unimposing.

The seafood platter was very good & plenty of food for both my husband and I! I wanted a side salad but it wasn't on the menu. I asked if they could make one & was quickly served a delicious salad twice the size I'd expected for a very tiny price. Our service was very friendly & prompt. We'd eat here again if in the area.
