My recent visit to Issa Snack Express on the Westbank of New Orleans left much to be desired. Right from the start, the lady at the counter exhibited a crazy lack of friendliness, making the entire experience less than welcoming.The disappointment continued with the food. Unfortunately, the eggrolls, among other items, were soggy and lacked the expected flavor. It seemed like the overall quality of the food fell short of what one would hope for in a dining experience. I've heard good reviews about this place but now im starting to question it.This visit didn't live up to my expectations of savoring local flavors in New Orleans. The combination of rude service and mediocre food made my time at this place less enjoyable than I had hoped. For those considering a visit, Id recommend exploring other dining options in the area for a more satisfying experience.

I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. The staff was not only rude and unhelpful but also seemed indifferent to customer satisfaction. The overall attitude left a lot to be desired, making it an unwelcoming environment for diners.Additionally, the food was mediocre at best. It's disheartening when the culinary experience doesn't match expectations. The lack of attention to quality and taste was evident in every dish.Moreover, the owner's behavior towards the community was disrespectful. Building a positive relationship with the community is essential for any business, and unfortunately, this establishment falls short in this aspect.Furthermore, the cleanliness of the place was subpar. A clean and well-maintained environment is crucial for a dining establishment, and the neglect in this regard was noticeable.In conclusion, I would not recommend this place to anyone based on the combined factors of unfriendly staff, mediocre food, disrespectful owner, and an overall lack of cleanliness. It's disappointing when a restaurant fails on multiple fronts, and I hope these issues are addressed for the improvement of both the business and the community it serves.

Good flavorful snack but overwhelming spicy. Customer service can be worked on, the cashier wasn’t inviting at all. I was in and out. I called my order in. Paid $3.75 for a strawberry watermelon tea that was a hit but I literally only took 5 sips before it was gone. I wanted more. Business is business though.

The food is okay mines is better .... I will say the prices don't match the amount of food. Why would i pay 10.00 for a very small 8oz cup of pasta and 13 for 12 oz. It would make sense if they gave you a drink or a side. But it sadly doesn't come with anything. The taco is nothing but rotel juice no ground meat and two shrimps. Then on top of that i was charged a dollar for what.. i do not know. The young lady at the counter had her AirPods in her ear, she couldn't hear anything i was saying i had to keep repeating myself.I had to wait almost 45 mins for the little amount of food i did order. I wouldn't recommend this place. Just go to New Orleans food and spirit or make the food yourself.

ISSA NO for me I ordered the Shrimp and Crab Eggrolls. I got like 3 pcs of shrimp and the rest straight cabbage no crab meat at all Eggrolls were soggy. I paid $7.50 for two soggy Eggrolls, I should have stuck with what I know the Rotel Dip.

The owner is very nice and friendly, she makes you feel welcomed. This was our first visit here and we loved it. The eggrolls were delicious and I don't usually eat eggrolls at all. I'll definitely be back to try some other menu items.

I've been wanting to try this place for the longest and today I had lunch here. I ordered The seafood pasta and shrimp and crab egg rolls and it was delicious. It was made to order so it was piping hot when I picked my food up. On top of great food Katie was very pleasant and greeted everyone that came in. I will be back!

Baby when I tell you Sis did the damn thing OMG!! The food was sooo good!!!! I ordered the bell pepper rolls, ranch fries& the shrimp beef hotdog BABBBBYYYYYY she didn’t come to play!!! This is my 4th time ordering from here and she never disappoints!!! Thank you so much. I’ll be reordering soon.

ordered delivery, restaurant refused to make my food because they were “too busy”, the customer service was absolutely horrible and unprofessional.. once they finally decided to make my food after a hour and a half wait the food came not properly prepped. cajun ranch fries missing all toppings just greasy fries drenched in ranch no toppings at all, eggrolls only had cabbage and a few shrimp no crab meat or anything.. i was really disappointed my hopes were really high about ordering from here spending almost 30$ on 2 items.. never again..complete rip off..
