I always enjoy the shrimp gumbo with added crab and oysters. Kevin enjoyed chicken fried steak with sweet potato fries. He asked for brown gravy & they served him a pint of it. A gem conveniently located right off Interstate 10. Stop in and fill your tank stretch your legs and sit back and relax. Before getting back on the road, be sure to take the time to eat some of the best dishes Louisiana has to offer. It can get busy and the wait staff can be short-handed, BUT be sure to stick with it. The food was really good but it wasn't worth $21.34. I got the chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes. While I was eating on a bench outside, some dopey security guard approached me and asked me if I was waiting on something. I do not appreciate being bothered when I'm eating. 3 stars. Maybe I'll eat here again, but probably not.
