I swore I would never go back and buy Fresh shrimp again from Fisherman's Cove. But in a pinch.I said let me try one more time again . I asked for a pound and a 1/2.I was charged for 2 pounds. So I thought well maybe I had 2 pounds In the bag wrong it was one pound six ounces Of mushy black heads and feet . Never again don't waste your money. I am one who never complains or make a complaint but enough is enough . Food is too high to get ripped off .

I don't usually go to fisherman's cove but, I was in the area and decided to stop there again. In the first week of December I stopped to get shrimps and they were nice. I got the medium shrimps cause they had a lot of large shrimps mixed in with them. When I went back like 2 days before Christmas the small shrimps were extra small, the medium was small and the large was medium. When I walked out of there I swear I had been price gouged, I felt played.

They carry a variety of foods and goods. The store is small but clean and well stocked. And the employees and friendly and helpful.

The food was over-seasoned.It seems like another New Orleans sea food restaurant that overuses spices as a way to be Cajun. In Cajun cooking you can taste the food, not just the spices.Good service and atmosphere.

I went the first time in 15 years here a few months ago, and how much I feel like the mighty have fallen. It's more of a dive now, and I feel like the recipes have changed, or the ingredients have fallen. The place is a lot more sticky and greasy too, from everything from the furniture to the melamine plates to the flatware. I used to remember this place fondly, but not so much anymore. I thought it was me, and that my tastes have changed, but in going to other familiar haunts, I still seem to like Southern food. The portions are still good, and the food does look good, but, it just seems cooked with.. less love, I suppose.
