OH MY GOODNESS. You could go to a 5 star soul food restaurant and never have food this amazingly flavorful and perfectly cooked. Beyond excellent. Amazing!!!! We stopped after a swamp tour and were clearly looking like tourists, and the service was some of the best I have ever had - one of the ladies (maybe the owner) came and told us how to eat everything, brought extra gravy and sauces to try, turned down the fan to make us more comfortable, and just was the nicest and sweetest person you could imagine. Don't miss this one!!!! Get the greens they are heaven!! My sister had a fried fish po boy and I don't even like fried fish or po boys and I devoured the last few bites when she got too full. So fantastic!!

I eat at Hurst at least 2 or 3 times a year. I am a foodie especially a soul food one and they never EVER disappoint. The tea is so good. Don’t drink it too fast though bc they don’t offer
