Ordered the catfish and grits without the crawfish sauce (only because it had pork, which I don't eat). Although it was good, I have a feeling the sauce had all the flavor, as the fish itself was not seasoned well. I also felt as though the fish was undercooked. Overall it was pretty good and the servers were all very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was clean and comfortable as well. I'd recommend it.

The hostess and the waitress were great! Friendly, gracious and ready to serve. The area we were seated at was clean and had a place to plug in my phone. The ambiance and music selection were good. Upon getting my order, I did switch the jambalaya with greens which the greens were great. However the fish was not "redfish" and the description for the meal stated "a lump" unfortunately, I received a pinch of crabmeat. This really disappointed me and was not accustomed on receiving false meal descriptions. Upon taking social media survey, many folks requested that I send the meal back for false advertising. However, I did eat and it was good. I was just disappointed in the false advertising of the meal description.

Food was delicious but service was slow and terrible. I waited at least 20 minutes before someone took my order. This was after flagging an employee and waiting another 10 minutes. One thing that is important to timeliness when at the airport.

My niece wondered back with some golden fried chicken and shrimp etouffee . She opened the lids , and the aroma had me up on my way to where it came from. I ordered a shrimp po boy reason chicken fried fresh, and I didn't have 25 minutes. Shrimp fried golden brown and fries were crispy. Gumbo was flavorful and meaty , but the consistency of roux gave soup . The greens were tasty but like glory greens out the can . The restaurant is decorated nicely and service was prompt for take out

Surprisingly good airport food. I did not have a great experience at Dooky Chase years ago. And that was right after Leah had passed. I gave this spot a chance. They were understaffed but made it happen. Good service. Shrimp Po Boy was good. Shrimp fried just right. Fresh tasting. Fried chicken had that expert fry on it. Came out piping hot and needed nothing even though I did douse it with Louisiana hot sauce, of course. Very pleased. I will be back when I come through again.

We had a vegan in our party (extreme allergy, not preference) who could eat from the breakfast menu, but nothing else. They would not even make potatoes for her. While it's hard to travel with dietary restrictions, the fact that they could not accommodate such a simple dish is uncommon and ridiculous.

Really great shrimp Poboy for lunch. Better than the one I had in the city last night. Really awesome bartender today.

Waiting to get the hostess attention to seat us, then upon being seated waited an audition 10 minutes for someone, ANYONE to acknowledge us let alone wait on us. Several staff walked past, avoided eye contact, and didn’t respond to requests. Finally gave up and left. I wanted to like this, but the complete lack of care by any of the service staff turned me off.

We had a great time here! Shout-out to Julia for holding down the entire front of the house, and to the kitchen for reminding us of what it's like to eat gumbo in someone's house. Shrimp poboy was also perfectly made. Our service was excellent, Julia was very attentive, and the kitchen was seriously hustling, we got our food in 15 minutes and sat and enjoyed until right when we had to leave for the gate. We heard the folks next to us say they needed a nap after their meal. We had been sorry we didn't book at Dooky Chase far enough in advance to go during our trip. So we were very grateful to get this experience. And we read all the negative reviews, our time here was nothing like that at all.

Hostess was rude. Woman with the long braids. Asked for a booth and her immediate reaction was to "teeth suck". Should not be greeting people or working in a restaurant. Saw her act short with a few customers. Another couple were looking at a table to sit and I overheard "I told you to wait, you can't sit there, it's not clean" in a rude tone. She needs some retraining and a class on manners.Food was mediocre at best. Asked for a side salad with my chicken sandwich and got fries. Sandwich was decent. The chicken salad my partner ordered came with stale croutons. Our server, a gentleman, was good and attentive.Eat somewhere else if you can while waiting for your flight.

Hostess argued with the waitresses staff to get us a table. Then they forgot about us for 20 minutes. Lucky one waitresses noticed us and she had us. Unfortunately the fried chicken is terrible.

Seating on the table is what they call as great fried chicken, frozen banquet fried chicken is better, employees actually argued to avoid putting customers on big tables , I guess they worried about losing their tips. Even the customers offer to seat on a smaller table you not attended until you tell them off. This is normal since there 10 tables who experience the same.

The breakfast was fantastic. Benedict Pulled Pork perfectly seasoned. I was in NO for a few days and it was only at the airport that I ate the best breakfast. I recommend.

Hostess was extremely rude and unpleasant. Couldn't have made it more clear that they didn't want our business.
