Mccalisters off of Veterans Blvd, near Academy! Ok, so here we go. Let's start off with the staff. Very nice, cashier is always kind who displays great customer service, but the wait time didnt make sense. I put my order in before a family came in prior approximately 15 minutes . Waited for my food and by the time I got in the car, my food was cold, like Luke Warm. I only live (10 minutes) away! Unacceptable! Seriously! To say you this location just opened up, and the hygiene of the kitchen where I think I saw the cooks with NO GLOVES ON... to the bathrooms with paper towels on the found, none filled in the correct section, the wall placement to an overwhelming spray that smells like personal spray out of your purse! This would be my last time coming to this location fortunately ! Please also, WEAR HAIR NETS !!! How are the cooks not wearing hair nets?!? I don't want this place to close being that they just opened and is close enough for the Kenner/Metairie line to be supported! Please get it together!

Google Maps has this store (1000 W Esplanade) at the wrong location on the map. I ordered ahead and followed maps, only to be led to a library. According to the store they have been requesting Google to correct the issue, but they won't.

I loveeee McAlister's! Sometimes I'm iffy about chain places but they always serve great dishes for a reasonable price. It's always consistent with its quality and their service is always exceptional. My favorite is their chicken club sandwich and their broccoli cheddar soup! I love how their option to pick 2 because I'm always conflicted about getting a soup or sandwich. I will say however, that sometimes their restaurant is not always the cleanest. That is my one and only critique!

I have always been a big fan of McAlister's. They offer healthy fast food options. The Choose 2 is about nine dollars without any upgrades. You can get half of a sandwich and half of a salad as well as other things. On this particular trip I got half of a club sandwich on ciabatta bread instead of white bread and half of a chef salad. Both were delicious. I can never finish it all in one sitting. You're looking at dinner for two nights in a row. For the price you just can't beat that. I've never had any issues with the staff here as well. I typically place it's to go order. My order has always been packed and waiting for me upon arrival.

I've tried just about everything on the menu. Its all pretty good. It seems like lately the chicken Ceasar wrap and spuds aren't as good as they used to be, but still good enough. My favorite is the chicken sandwich with honey mustard.

I ordered the southwest chicken and avocado salad to go. It was pretty good and the size was larger than expected. I haven't been to this location but will probably return soon.
