Sunday May 9, 2021: We purchased the Jazz Roll this evening for Mother’s Day. We have gotten it at least 10 times, but today it was made with white fish on top. The white fish had bones in it & my Mother had to spit it out and wasted a sushi because of eating it. I spoke to the manager and she defended her position that white fish is supposed to have bones in it. We told her that it has NEVER had bones the past (at least) 10 times we’ve ordered it. When we looked on the menu, the Jazz Roll is supposed to have been made with Eel on top - NOT WHITE FISH!!!!! Disappointed with the manager & our dinner tonight. Bones = 1 star dinner tonight??? Very sad for an expensive meal.

Why do yall stop taking togo orders 30 minutes before you close? Horrible customer service! This location is around the corner from my house so we get take out often. Now i will be taking my business to Sake Sushi Hibachi House on Williams. Its out of my way for sure but they have never refused to take my order.

Sake Cafe of Chateau has some of the best sushi in Kenner. I had the wasabi tobiku sushi roll and the crunchy roll. Both were very tasty and fresh and they didn't skimp on the wasabi. It drives me crazy when sushi restaurants don't give me enough wasabi, what can I say, I like it hot!!! Anyways, I also got the snow crab salad which was refreshing and light. We also got the gyoza which tasted homemade, that's a plus. The Pad Thai shrimp was a little different. Meaning that it almost had a tomato base taste too it, not what I expected from Pad Thai but whatever.

Contemporary sushi place with a varied menu. I've yet to be disappointed by any of their rolls, and this was actually the first place I tried tempura as a kid. The tempura is FANTASTIC, and the Combination Tempura Dinner was my selection again last night. Comes with shrimp, chicken, and vegetables. The batter is light and flavorful.
