Kara has to be not only mine, but numerous others favorite St Tammeny person.Destiny call the patrons, "THE CREW" people love, respect & enjoy others.Food next door is killer, but my favorite is to watch Kara cook.Also he has a new food truck.
Da Crab Trap is the real deal. It's not a faux bar with reproduction memorabilia on the walls to make it kewl. It's a straight up dive bar with great staff, great customers, cheap beer, wine, booze. It's also dog friendly (patio only, leashes & good behavior required). Karaoke on Sunday afternoons. We stopped here while biking through the Tammany Trace and gorged ourselves on an incredible boiled crawfish feast! It was so delicious, well priced, and perfect for a day out biking, and the people who work here are so kind and friendly. It really feels like an honest, authentic local place. Thanks so much - we'll definitely come again if we're passing through Lacombe!
