Ordered to-go with my husband and we are never disappointed with the food or service. Our usual order is Chicken Saag with garlic naan, so good it’s become our comfort food. Lately I’ve been wanting something with a little more spice to it so I also ordered Chicken Biryani and Lamb Samosa, which I’ll definitely have again. Thank you again for a wonderful meal, and of course we’ll keep coming back?

Great samosas-an order (of two) is like a meal. Buffet was discontinued a couple years before the pandemic started.

Forgot the naanEdit: originally 1 star. I went to the store the next day and they gave me a free naan. The samosas are the best I've ever had. The chicken tikka masala was really really good. The garlic naan was okay.

The opposite of the average American chain food experience.Unremarkable from the outside. No big bright ads or special promotions. Extremely basic interior.With that said. Their focus is the food they make. Extremely good. Always hot and fresh, you can tell they've been doing the same thing for a long time.

So my usual go-to for Indian food is Priya’s but they were closed so I went with bismillah and was not disappointed. The vindaloo was spicy and delicious. I did find that their vindaloo has more of a tomato base than priya’s, which is more of a curry base. I personally prefer more of a curry base but it was still really good.Now the veggie Biryani was way better than any I’ve tried in Lafayette! The raita was also a nice surprise and tasted great! Loved the naan too!
