The crawfish and corn bisque was delicious. The fried shrimp poorboy was good but the bisque was a winner. Joey's also has great prepared foods for reheating at home like crawfish pie, shrimp and okra gumbo and a variety of soups. Fresh seafood and meat market with plenty of seasoned and stuffed options. Looking for great cheese and house made salad dressings Joey's has that covered. Oh, don't forget to grab that bottle of wine or spirits to complete your meal. This place has all you need to host the perfect dinner party.

We had the bad idea of getting shrimp n grits, chicken pasta and shrimp pasta catered. This was some of the worst food I’ve had anywhere. Low quality for the price and no flavor. The taste was like Lipton powered soup packets mixed with pasta and can shrimp. Never going back.

Had to try one of each of the sides, with a nice Tenderloin with the Pecan pie and Chantilly Cake, for my son and I, for Thanksgiving dinner. Almost everything was perfect, very much enjoyed it.

They have a market and a restaurant. The service is great they are attentive and are very polite. They have a wide variety of sandwiches and a few potatoes. I got the beef tip potato. It was ok the potato was large and perfectly baked and topped with beef tips and gravy. They don't give much meat but the flavor was ok. Got a shrimp poboy to go they put a decent Amy of shrimp but they lacked seasoning so not much flavor. My wife got a roast beef sandwich that was pretty basic but she enjoyed it. The food in the market looked pretty good. They have pre made meals and fresh or frozen meats. The price is on the higher side but looked like good quality.The business was clean with a chill vibe with several tables down stairs. Not sure what is upstairs
Seriously the best onion rings I've ever had. That's what brought me in but I also really enjoyed the roast pork poboy. The staff was all super friendly also. Such a neat place with great food!

always a lot of fun stuff in store, went back for lunch for the first time in a long time. Got a panini and as soon as the server started to set it down i involuntarily said, "oh no" seeing it was a bread that had very strong herbs in it (not mentioned on the menu). She asked if it was wrong and i said, "no, I can just tell i'm not going to like the bread" and she just walked away (most any other place in lafayette would have tried to rectify my distaste). then, since i had to pull the bread off and eat the rest with a fork, I got up to ask for an actual plate. I then saw her clear off a table (there were no less than fifteen empty tables in the place) then she was wandering around in the server station so I got up to ask again...
