Loved the food it was phenomenal, authentic. Would’ve loved to be a regular at this place. However, the service here will have me not returning to this place any time soon. Paid in cash and our waitress pocketed the change for herself and ignored us until we left. It was outright shocking and disrespectful. Don’t understand why a business like this would need to be pocketing a few extra dollars from people but the small food portion size tells me what i need to know. The portion is not worth the money. Im very disappointed that a small business that looks welcoming is treating their new customers like this.

Very homey and hole-in-the-wall spot. Often these have the best food and this was no exception - I think this place has the best pho in Lafayette. The broth was so savory and piping hot. Lots of toppings, and the chicken was very good quality. The egg rolls tasted homemade and fresh. Took a star off for service because they were understaffed at dinner so there was only one server. She did a great job tho despite being alone. I was very happy with the condiments provided at the table - everything from hot chili flakes to spicy mustard. Would return.

A hidden gem of Lafayette. My new favorite place in town. A cozy restaurant ran by mom, pop, and daughter. Has a unique menu compared to its competitors.

Mae Sone Noodle House first opened its doors in the late 1990's, and after having moved away and back to Lafayette again, I'm happy to report that it's still the best Asian restaurant in town! MSNH offers a wide variety of Asian dishes that is sure to make everyone happy - everything on the menu is delicious! I am particularly fond of the "Poor Man's Fried Noodles" - a sweet and savory rice noodle dish that I haven't been able to find anywhere else. And the service is just as good as the food, which is to say outstanding!

Very disappointed. Not much flavor. Egg roll, no flavor. Ordered spicy...? Very expensive

A great restaurant not only offers delicious food but also superior service.Mae Sone offers authentic pho, but their service can not match the food quality. That is why I give 4 star.It was hard to find. Google Map only points to the plaza but not the exact location of the restaurant. This was no clearer sign of “Mar Sone Noodle House”. I had to call the restaurant to confirm. It ended up with a plain white board with “Noodle House” sign. There were lots of plants on the front door. The food was great. I ordered the Pho combination, the only downside was the beef slice did not taste fresh, the meat ball was Ok.The waitress was slow. She only came to my table once. It took forever for her to get my credit off the table. So I had to come to the front desk to pay. This is a mistake that many Asian restaurants have made. They simply focus on food but not over service and dinning experience.
