The food is excellent, probably the best sushi in town or at least top 2. Prices are great. The only issue I have with this place is that they no longer allow dine in so I go to other sushi restaurants more.

Today was my first time ever going to this place and the reviews were great. I ordered miso soup, two orders of crunchy roll and a shrimp tempura roll! The avocado in my crunchy roll was veryyyyyyyy warm and mushy as if it’s been sitting. I ordered my food at 5:51 and picked it up at 6:20. As I’m eating the sushi I realized How warm it was and became very sick!!! I want to go back and get my money, but it’s a small place and I would hate to take money from them but I would not go back ever again. I’ve never been sick from sushi ever!

First time. Never heard of or would have ever found this place without Google. I searched sushi near my job and this came up.The door says take out only. Its a small old non fancy place that obviously focuses on the food only and the gentleman was very kind just making the sushi himself behind a regular wood counter like he was at home, so I had a feeling it was going to be good. It was. I went simple with the Calif roll and Shrimp tempura roll only because the website does not say what is in the others. He showed me how to find that online.I also had the eggplant/shrimp w/ miso. It really was what I would imagine eating at a friends home in Japan would be by a mom who's been making sushi all her life.I look forward to trying more rolls in the future.

The best Sushi in Lafayette. Probably in the entire state. The service is quick and friendly. It's a very nice, small, dimly lit place to eat. Great place for a date night.

The quality and flavor of this sushi is unmatched in all of Lafayette and the prices are great! I never write for reviews for anything and ran here before I could even finish my food.
