If you want a quiet relaxing dinner, don't go to Sakura's when owner's relatives show up and turn the restaurant into a loud children's playground of noisemaking unconfined to their own table. Poor waiter said it was out of his control to do anything about it as the owners were oblivious that patrons were extremely annoyed.

I read some of the reviews and was quite shocked. I've been eating here since they opened (years ago) and it's always the freshest sushi. Also, the rolls are always well made. The only thing that has changed is the amount of customers. Unfortunately, Lafayette has a ton of newer restaurants that are more flashy so I'm sad to see this. If you haven't tried them out, I highly recommend it.

This is my favorite lunch spot. Bento box is such a good deal and it comes with a bunch of food! Service is great and the place is pretty clean. Best reasonably priced sushi IMO.

We showed up 30 minutes before closing and they were still the kindest people. Our meals were prepared and served with still the same professionalism as earlier in the day even.

I brought my wife here for her 28th birthday, the first Birthday we shared together since we have been married. Our family is currently spending the night on our toilet seats coming out of both ends. Hate this place

Spectacularly fresh fish and delectable sushi. It's a perfect place to bring a date or hang out with friends. I've come here nearly a dozen times with friends and have never been dissatisfied with the food or service. Everything has always been fresh.
