Living in New Orleans kind of made me become a king cake snob...seriously, don't come at me anymore with grocery store king cake. ? But where, oh, where to find a king cake in Lake Charles that even comes close to the deliciousness of a Randazzo's??? There was really only one possibility, so off to Cypi's Cake Box I went. The verdict? I'm sorry, New Orleans, but speaking as someone who has tasted king cake from several of your bakeries, and having tasted hers today, I have to say it...she does it better. ?♀️ ⚜️???

I sent my husband to pick up cupcakes for an adult birthday party tonight. It was almost $25 for 6 tiny little cupcakes and tasted old. That is one bite for a man. Disgraceful. I am cake decorator. I could have bought 25 boxes of mix. I shall pass the word. I know you could care less, but I am embarrassed and disappointed. I shall never step foot in there again!!!!! Good day .

Beautiful cake that was equally delicious! Great service- last minute request and delivered right on time. They will definitely be doing all of our cakes in the future. My grandson was very excited to see it.

I ordered the melted ice cream look cake and it just looks off. They could've taken 2 extra minutes to color the icing so it actually looks like the ice cream is melting. It does taste good but I'm disappointed that it looks lazy. My husband was the one to pick it up so he didn't know to say anything. (The photos are my cake vs the reference cake)

My aunt picked up some cakes and cupcakes for birthday lunch, and cypis outdid themselves! The intrinsic decoration and taste of the cake and cupcakes are top notch. It was so pretty I didn't even want to eat it or cut into it. The white cupcakes were my favorite. The flavor was so good.

Beautiful cake! The purple icing around the border has a bitter taste! The strawberry flavor has a bitter after bite! I wish I would've gone to Sam's Club like I normally do! My daughter is very disappointed and I have to get another cake from Sam's!
