I visit here often. Solid food. Love the queso. Salsa is hit and miss.Food comes out FAST.On the days the mariachi band is there.....they are REALLY loud....you can't here the people at your table speaking when they are playing.

This is one of the best restaurants I've been to. The food was amazing, the service was great and the atmosphere was exactly what we all needed. We were in town for a baseball tournament and brought the whole team and parents. The best part was the mariachi band when they came over performing for us. It took some coaxing, but they actually had the boys dancing. It was so much fun. They all worked hard to get our meals out quickly, which was delicious, and only one drink was spilled. (it was a parent) ?? Highly recommend.Kid-friendliness: Not only were they kid friendly but actually focused on making sure our boys were entertained.
The online menu needs more details as to what comes on each item. The burrito is literally a tortilla a scrap of meat and a splash of beans. We got the (K) combination and the portion size is for a kid. We expected it to come with rice, beans and pico on the side but it didn't. The food was bland and a bit dry. The waitress was super nice and gave us a side of rice, beans and pico. Not sure if we'll give it another try tho. Also we did take out but the inside of the restaurant seemed comfortable and relaxed.

Sorry, but I can't say enough that the food was not good at all. I ordered the Camorones AL Mojo De Ajo. My shrimp tasted like they were cooked too long and in the garlic sauce. They were mushy. I thought I was getting steamed mixed vegetables and got mostly hard broccoli. The Mexican rice was very bland and my garlic bread was wet. What a waste on my $22.00. I will never eat there again!

The food comes out fast, even when they're busy. The service is fast and accurate. The new decor is so mesmerizing that my daughter now wants the same in her room. The Queso, and well all of the food, is great. We've been eating here for years and not once have they gotten our order wrong. Drink stay filled. One could argue that it's the best Hispanic eatery in Lake Charles.

Excellent service and food! We were there on a Sunday, and enjoyed the mariachi band - from afar; we were pleased that they responded well when we declined, with gratitude, their offer to do a song right at our table for us. ???
The place was very nice inside. Our server Valentina she was nice and friendly. I got chicken enchiladas with the red sauce on top it was good. The house Rita was meh could've been stronger for the price.

i called in a order at 5:49 for my family 6 tacos 2 queso dip then we decided heading there we should just go inside and eat. I called back at 5:55 saying hey can y'all cancel that ... was cut off by someone yelling in the background. before i could finish saying we will just come inside. I couldn't get to that part because they were yelling to each other back and forth then she said " ma'am you should have called earlier cause now we have to throw it" uh.... making a full order in 5 minutes okay sure...... we would've been just fine eating the togo at the table but they were too quick to assume and why yell at a customer for canceling.....

I don't know exactly what happened but this place has circled the drain. The service is terrible we get the same waiter and he doesn't really seem interested in being there. This last visit (our final) my wife and mother in law had chicken and it was very pink and undercooked. Mine was supposed to have a chalupa it came out as a tostada and the waiter didn't know the difference. There was about a 1/4 inch of grease sitting on my tray that ruined the rest of the food. We paid and left, mostly because nobody seemed to be a manager and the lady at the front counter doesn't speak English I guess because she didn't seem to know what was happening.
