I have been avoiding trying this restaurant out. I'm not sure why maybe the location or that the area has been flooded with Mexican restaurants. Well, it was my loss. Sergio was a friendly and professional server. The decor is fun, clean and nice. The food was outstanding. I had the LA Parrilla burrito ? with ground beef instead of steak. It was the best burrito ? ? ? I have ever eaten. My friend had the steak fajitas and said they were excellent. I'm so glad I gave La Parrilla a try. The last four or five reviews I have were for restaurants that missed the mark.

The price is too high and the food is not great. I tried this place twice within the same week. I thought the first experience might have just been the type of food I ordered but I went back and ordered something else and I don't know if they leave the meat in water before they put it on the tacos or what the reasoning is but the meat is very wet as though it had been sitting in water before they put it on my taco I tried it with the steak first time I went in and it was wet. The 2nd visit was chicken. It's not sauce wet...it's water wet. As though it had been sitting in a bucket of water before they put it on my taco. There is no seasoning on the the food. And because of so much water in the meat my corn tortilla was soggy. I've had a little worse not much, but I definitely had much better than this. For the price I could have had Grade A steak. I have been wanting to try this restaurant for a while. Unfortunately I was quite disappointed.

They never have to worry about me again. How you a Mexican restaurant and have cheese dip on the menu, and when asked is it Chile con queso....you look at me like I'm speaking a foreign language....and you Mexican!!!! ? That makes no sense!!! But my margarita is spot on!!! ?Parking: Horrible ?

This is a pretty convenient location, being right by the motel and off the highway. Easy to get to, but easy to miss as well.We ordered the Taco Dinner, ($12) which didn’t come with the rice and choice of beans as on their menu. Taste was about a 6/10.First time ordering the Birra Tacos, ($15) which actually came with the rice for this plate. These were actually pretty good. Nice and warm melted cheese, pretty crunchy while still remaining juicy. The rice was decent. Overall i’d give these an 8/10.This location charges a “convenience fee” for not using cash..
Tonight, I dined at La Parrilla after reading rave reviews. Everything was perfect until the end – ordered fried ice cream and discovered a cooked-in roach at the bottom. After almost finishing the dessert. Informed my server, who showed it to the manager. Manager had a grin, claimed it couldn't be a roach, insisting it was a different bug. Regardless, bugs shouldn't be in food. Won't be returning to dine here. I advise you not to either unless you like Mexican food with a little “extra” cooked into it .
