The wine list is limited and the menu has items we wanted, but not available while we were there. This disappointing as we really didn't get what we came for as per the menu items.

Food and drinks were very good! Service was excellent and the decor was really cool. The only thing I would say and this is super nit picky is on the day we went it was pretty quiet at dinner and the music was really low so the environment was almost awkwardly quiet. Not a big deal though and could be solved by maybe just turning the music up a bit so private conversations can be had. Overall we loved it and will definitely be back!

Loved this place! Found on Open Table and what a find. On vacation from Florida to Lake Charles and New Orleans. This was our favorite stop of the whole vacation! Food and atmosphere were terrific. Waitress turned out to be daughter of a high school friend of my girlfriend I was with. Everything she recommended was fabulous! We have already told everyone we have run into about this place and they are all going to try it when in town. We will definitely return when we are back in town. Ask for Quinn to wait on you!!

Food was better than expected, I've had samples of 1910 food before at different event venues and this was definitely superior to the catered food. I particularly enjoyed the pork, I did not care much for the blackened tuna my husband ordered. We both really enjoyed the bread pudding, among the best we've ever had. Our waitress was very prompt, helpful and attentive. We had dinner reservations for 7:45 and were quite shocked to see the many tables that were open on a Saturday evening when I would have expected it to be packed.

My family and I were there for Father's Day dinner. The food was excellent. We had 4 dishes for the 5 of us. The steaks came out great. The cocktail program is absolutely out of this world! I had an Uno Mas and we had the Fire of 1910, which were both incredible!!! We will definitely be going again. The only reason I gave ambiance 4 stars is because of a lack of music in intervals of our experience. The restaurant wasn't busy and it lacked energy without music. However, when the music was on, it was awesome.

My family and I went for Sunday Brunch and were very pleased with our meals. The service was fast despite the restaurant being quit full of patrons. My 28 year old son loved his chicken and waffles which were photo worthy. I got the crab cake benedict which was good but I think the next time I order it, I will get it with the pulled pork. My husband got a traditional breakfast and I tasted his grits and they were outstanding. I love when a restaurant goes the extra steps to make grits thick, creamy and delicious instead of just cooking with water. I ordered a bloody Mary, though it lacked a little in presentation, it made up for it in taste. I have also gone on Tuesday when they offer half priced appetizers and was also very pleased with the choices and food quality. It is a place that I enjoy and will return.

Very nice for ladies' lunch. Chicken salad croissants & roast beef po'boys very good, very good Caesar salad. Atmosphere was quiet enough to enjoy conversation, and cool enough to be comfortable without being chilly. Nice attentive waitress. We have had Sunday brunch there and they are definitely kid-friendly. Chicken tenders are very good. Crab cakes with cornbread good.

This is my new favorite place to dine. Never packed at all. It's always easy to get in. The atmosphere is always quiet and relaxing. Had lunch today as a family and felt like it was family friendly since they kindly provided a high chair. Food was excellent and was not a long wait. Wish you get more shrimp as an add on to the salad for the extra cost but I was satisfied for lunch.

Greeted by the owner, Andrew. Very nice restaurant, beautiful building and location in downtown Lake Charles. Across from the courthouse. This was my first visit. I intend to take my wife there soon.

Very relaxing and quiet date night. Was able to order appetizers as we felt we wanted instead of all at once and they came out with perfect timing. Wine and apps was all we got and loved it!

I recognize that the chef(s) are trying to innovate. But, sometimes classic flavors are classic for a reason. The BBQ shrimp comes w/ an excellent sauce - there should be more of it, and the bread should come on the side for dipping. The fried asparagus were simple but very good. The pork cheeks had interesting and complementary flavors and textures. I thought the barramundi was accompanied by a pesto, but on reflection, I think the sauce was a chimichurri, which IMHO, nearly ruined the dish. The fish was superb - great crust. The sauce nearly ruined the dish - innovative ? yes; complements and elevates dish? not so much. Overall, 1910 is a very good additional to Lake Charles' limited dining scene.

We absolutely love this restaurant! For us, it's high-end comfort food. We always order the Duck Bombs for an appetizer. I also love the Fried Goat Cheese Salad, with or without a protein on it. My husband and I love the steaks too. The au gratin potatoes that accompany the steaks are the best! Andrew Green, the owner, always has a special on the menu that highlights local ingredients. And the wine list is exceptional. This restaurant is truly a gem!

Long wait for apps, delay on our salads, long wait for steaks. Our server said he was sorry for the delay but they had received a lot of orders on “waiter” and it was “causing problems”. Our meal for two adults and one child was 200 that's 250 with the tip I left. I would think you would take care of those In your dining room, who had made reservations, before your “waiter” orders. It's not about the money -it is about unbelievable poor service and poor leadership.

This is our second time at 1910 and both times were very enjoyable. The only improvement I think that is needed is the wait staff seems to be not very knowledgeable. And the second time we were in even though that it was not full seems like the bar service was extremely slow. For a Saturday night there should've been two behind the bar not one

Absolutely loved our dinner at Lake Charles Restaurant 1910, which is named after a fire that struck Lake Charles in 1910. Appetizers particularly were amazing, as were specials. The oysters with spinach were divine, boar tenderloin excellent, shrimp and grits were outstanding. Overall an amazing meal for our table of 6, and love the eccentric artwork on the walls. Cool vibe with Louisiana flavor.
