I just left Mi Tierra 20 minutes ago. This was my second time eating there. The first time the food was amazing. If I had left a review I would have left five stars. This time I ordered the Chilaquiles de cochinita pibil. It was awful. What came out was a plate of cold, soggy, salty table chips slathered in this green sauce. It was bad. The chips where so soggy I had to eat it with a fork and even then the chips would break apart like soggy bread or slough off the fork. The pork was cold, refrigerator cold. The green sauce that they covered the whole thing in was very salty. I'm talking spike your blood pressure, gonna need to drink a gallon of water, holy crap they're trying to kill me salty. I tried to eat it cause it was $16.00 but I couldn't. The pickled onions were good. I like trying new foods. Whenever I go to a new restaurant I like to order things I haven't had before. This leads to some great finds and some awful misses. Even if I didn't like the food, due to the flavor profile or texture, I would go back to try something else as long as the quality of the dish was good. The soggy, salty, cold thing masquerading as food was not good quality. I will not be trying Mi Tierra again because it was just that bad. Again the pickled onions were good.

Yep is a small restaurant in a strip shopping center, but don't let that fool you. The food if authentic and fresh!! No need in ging to a big and loud restaurant when you have MI Tierra as a choice. I recommend!Enjoy!

First off their food is DELICIOUS. everything I've ordered from here has Ben amazing. Tonight we ordered from them via door dash. We had an item missing form the order and they had already closed. My husband suggested to call and I was hesitant. He called for me and they were happy to make the item that was missing for us. Major kudos for answering after closing, and more for helping us out!

De la fregada el almuerzo, a quien se le ocurre hacer un huevo con papas con productos viejos (la papa fue recalentado) pareciera que el cocinero NO conoce a fondo su trabajo, me cambiaron el taco pero si van a poner. En alto el nombre de la comida mexicana al menos que el propietario del restaurante se aplique a quien pone en la cocina

Worst service, took 2 hours to get food. If your waiter isn't the owner then your food isn't priority. Place isn't worth a fuck. No vale verga. Food taste horrible by the way. Chilaquiles are nachos with some melted cheese that tastes like paper. It's better to starve. This is their famous dish of waffles that are crap too.

I really don't recommend this place, I ordered a barbacoa taco and the meat didn't taste like barbecue, it tasted like cochinita pibil, apart from very little meat for the price of $5.00 each, very high prices for the kind of food,, the They prepare chilaquiles with chips from a bag, very ugly with no flavor, I definitely won't go back.
This was our second visit. The food and service was excellent on both occasions. Give it a try! Street tacos, gorditas, and tamales were all exceptional. Homemade pickled onions added an extra flavor to everything.
