Rosita's 2 has the best birria tacos in lake Charles. That's a bold statement, there are WAY too many Mexican restaurants in LC, but I'll stand by my statement. I would HIGHLY recommend going and getting them. They also have a full list of different types of street taco meats (lengua) if u're looking for something other than steak/chicken. My point is this is the real deal. This is Mexican, not drowned in queso TexMex, which is WAY better in my opinion. When you want to satisfy your Mexican hankering and want the best calcasieu parish has to offer go to Rosita's in Sulphur or Rosita's 2 in Lake Charles. You won't regret it, and you're welcome in advance!

What a great place, it’s hard to find good Mexican food around here when we visit casino’s. This place does it right! Wish the tortillas were better. But man! It’s fresh, great portions and quality service. The baked potatoes were a great surprise they’re massive! The Tripa tacos were Cooked perfectly, the parrillada was delicious. the aguas frescas are perfect, Hibiscus, Cantaloupe and Horchata. Highly recommend it!

The food came out very quickly and they made sure we had our drinks filled and chips at hand during our entire meal ? The staff was nice and told us about the history of their restaurant and why it’s so special. ? come eat here! it’s cozy and clean. perfect. ? This is a hidden gem in Lake Charles. Seatings are limited and they get pretty busy around noon on Sundays. The food is FANTASTIC, especially the birria tacos! Unlike other soggy taco places I've tried, theirs is crispy. They offer complimentary chips and salsa and several hot sauces to choose from. The food comes out within 15 minutes after you put in your order. There's nothing special about the inside because it's a hole in the wall restaurant. I've tried to come back for more birria tacos on a Monday only to find out they were closed. Give them a try. You won't be disappointed!
