Great place to get authentic Cajun food. Never had a bad meal here. Service is outstanding and the owner watches everything with a smile. I always make a stop at this restaurant when I'm in Lake Charles.

Although my experience here was not the best, I want to highlight a recent incident where a football group from Texas had a negative experience and shared it on social media. The increase in positive reviews is likely due to the negative experience that went viral on Facebook. It seems that the positive reviews are attempting to outweigh the negative experience shared by a real customer, leading to suspicions that they may be fake.It's also important to acknowledge that individual experiences may vary, and a positive experience for one person does not guarantee the same for everyone.I ordered crawfish, boiled shrimp, and a shrimp poboy, but unfortunately, the crawfish lacked seasoning and the boiled shrimp was overcooked. The sizes of the dishes were decent, considering the delayed start to crawfish season this year. My father-in-law enjoyed the shrimp poboy without any issues. Overall, my experience at Seafood Palace was a bit disappointing. However, the next day we visited Steamboat Bill's after church and everything was delicious - seasoned perfectly. I will be returning to Steamboat Bill's in the future, but I may not revisit Seafood Palace.

What a delight, the staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the entire menu. The decor was new but still nostalgic. The food was fresh and VERY TASTY! if you have the chance to visit and try their food, you will love it as much as I did. I will definitely be back for some more tasty crayfish. Highly recommended!

Great seafood off the main road. Place to go that was packed on a Thursday mid afternoon. Lots of to-go orders so definitely a place the locals eat at.
Worst experience I have ever had there! Waited over one hour for a table while watching owner move friends ahead of everybody else to a table. When asked if they had a reservation the hostess very rudely said they do not take reservations and she had been there since 9am so just wait your turn.

Ordered the seafood gumbo, good but not as good as Pat's. Small fried combo of oysters and shrimp was good. Shrimp better than Pat's and fried oysters were superb.
