Omg...there is not of enough I can say about this place. The food was DELICIOUS AND the atmosphere was WONDERFUL....but the topper was..I accidentally threw my phone in the trash and the owner personally brought my phone to me. We are in New Orleans at the French Quarters

I had the fried oysters with onion rings and hush puppies and it was amazing. My husband had the stuffed fish maurepas with sauté green beans and stuff potato that he enjoyed as well. The wait staff and owner Mr. Becnel was very nice and attentive. Also we got our desserts to go. We had the award winning Apple praline cobbler and also the bread pudding that we extremely enjoyed.

Local spot, cool location on the lake with a nice atmosphere. People are very friendly and accommodating; the service was great and got to meet Faith Becnel from American Idol! Food was not great, good menu but was not fried well and batter was bland. I would recommend this as a spot to grab a beer and hear some jams, maybe a burger or something.
Food and service was FANTASTIC, every time we go its always the best ever.

My granddaughters and I were traveling to Texas and were hungry. I like to try local restaurants when traveling and Bec's looked just that. It was a very short drive off I-10. WOW is what is an easy way to describe it. It is unassuming pulling in. It is up stairs and has views of the lake. The service was ON POINT and the food was amazing! I am so glad we chose to stop. If I'm in the area again it will be on the must stop list!

This place look like cajun camp transformed in a quantina..Nothing fancy . Don't look at the deco just come on in to meet the friendly staff who will make you feel welcome. The food is a mazing i recommende the steak and the shrimp. Can wait to go back..

Horrible food! Very bland food, especially the cheese sticks and the chicken fingers. The chicken fingers were so though we couldn't even eat them. On top of that they don't offer just a glass of water. They charged $1.50 for each bottle of water. The waitress wasn't very good either. The tea my husband got was spoiled and he couldn't drink it. Anytime we needed something we had to track her down. She never even came to check on us after we got our food to see if there was anything else we needed. I guess she knew the food was bad too and made her self scarce.
