The food is excellent. Stuffed crab was full of meat. Fried oysters were perfect. Fried fish was perfectly cooked. Can't say enough about the food.

The staff is lovely—everyone is extremely kind and helpful. I was very disappointed by the food, though. The calamari appetizer that I ordered was very good; all of the fried items had perfect batter, but the food was very unseasoned. I had to add salt and pepper to my pasta various times because the sauce was bland, and the pasta was a bit overcooked. The food would be lovely with just a bit more seasoning!

We arrived in LaPlace to visit relatives and had time before our visit to have lunch. Google must’ve been playing a joke by sending us here.Red beans and rice were room temperature and tasted like they were warmed up over and over. It was thick and mushy with 3 tiny shrimps and I’m not sure what else was in it. They forgot to add flavor to just about everything.We should’ve known when we we the only ones in there the entire time. We arrived at 2:20. Hush puppies were served with hard butter. My club soda served bottled was frozen and came out like a slushy with no bubbles. We each ordered gumbo which came out first.

Went for my birthday dinner because I was craving Charbroiled oysters and these definitely did not disappoint. Being a Chef I can be admittedly picky and critical but cant say enough about the food we had. Fried Calamari and Charbroiled oyster appetizers were both delicious. The fried stuffed softshell crab was truly a treat and the Seafood gumbo was also good.Wanted to try a bunch of different thing being it was our first time here and we couldve definitely went without 2/3s of what we ordered and been full because the portions are plenty substantial.Prices were also a great bargain when you consider what fast food cost these days

This place was okay. Crawfish has no spice at all.. crab as well.. but their boiled shrimp was AWESOME! Alligator bites were horrible. No flavor at all. Super tough and chewy. We would maybe come back for the shrimp, but nothing else.
