So I went to this restaurant for the first time. I love the Jamaican oxtails. However, at this restaurant, the food was not seasoned very well. The meat wasn't as tender as it should be. So due to those two things, it just made the dish o k. If you like real Jamaican food this would be a very disappointing experience. The man came out and asked me. Was the food good and I said? Yes, I hadn't tasted it until I got home and once I started to dig in I was like. Where's the seasoning?

Ok, I gave it 5 stars just to not mess up there rating, but we tried to go their today and the sign on the door said they had a fire and were closed until further notice. Hopefully they will open soon so I can come back and try them.

This place is so incredible! From the customer service, to the drinks and food, this restaurant is Amazing!! We got the large sampler, Roti, coco bread, Ginger beer and the Reggae medley. If you like hot sauce, they sell an incredible hot sauce with West Indian Red Peppers…………highly recommend!!!!!! They definitely cook with love, we can’t wait to try everything on their menu!!!!

AMAZING!Ackee & Saltfish @ @the.jamaicanspot in Leadville, LA First time trying this savory dish and thank goodness we came across this spot out here in Louisiana! Authentic, traditional, and delicious!The ackee and saltfish is incredibly savory, while the boiled yams, dumplings, and cooked bananas compliment the dish so well. Traditionally served on Saturday, this was a different Caribbean dish that was a delight to try :)
