A great Mexican place where locals come to hang out. Great food and service. Do yourself a favor and have the carne asada taco! And you really have to try the empanadas! ?

The atmosphere was nice and friendly. Everyone welcomed you and made it feel like home. The food was flavorful and delightful. The Birria tacos were perfectly cooked, nice moist and melt in you mouth every single bite. The frozen margaritas was perfect and strong. I Will be stopping by, every time I visit Nola.

Authentic, fresh, very affordable cuban food in a beautiful small town. We love Empa taco. The staff are so pleasant every time we go there. Great all around place to dine!

A hidden gem! I've heard about Empa-Taco from many friends and since trying it, has been in our regular rotation of dining out options.
Idk where to begin. Please don’t let me pay $25 for a plate of food that is just bad. Beans taste burnt, shrimp on tacos taste good but the mountain of soggy cold red cabbage inside of a super thick cold corn tortilla kinda offset that. The chips were fried in old grease; I can smell and taste it. tried to call and talk to someone about this food I just tossed in the trash ; but there was no manager on duty. Ya don’t say.Staff are nice. Rice is good. That’s all I got. Great location to do something amazing with and y’all are frying tortillas in old, unchanged, oil that smells like a grease trap. Thanks
This was the cheese quesadilla I received. I was given barely anything on a dry tortilla and when I called about the missing pico and sour cream I was shut down with several sarcastic “thank you’s”. I even offered to drive back over and pick up the corrected order, but they would not fix it. Very disappointing service and inedible food.

The gem of madisonville, in my opinion. Hands down the best food. If you want Authentic, this is your place. Anything you get, I promise, will be made fresh and with quality ingredients. My favorite is the Monday and Friday plate special. Mondays pork chops plate and Fridays redfish tacos are both phenomenal. All of the tacos are delicious. Outside seating has fans and makes it bearable.
We love eating here! The staff is friendly and the food has incredible taste! We enjoy the variety and authentic food options. My favorite is getting the sweet plantains as a “dessert”Dietary restrictions: I am gluten free and find it very easy to eat here. My husband has no allergies (as seen by food in the photos)
It was delicious and the service was excellent! Highly recommend it for a quick bite.

I ordered a Cuban sandwich- it's was dry, with very little on it- Pretty disappointed for the 16 bucks (1 Jarritos drink)- I wasted ... I won't go back. First time here.and not busy at all- around 3pm- Like I've already mentioned- won't be coming back here .
