Another restaurant that used to be great is no longer what it used for be. I hadn't visited Morton's in almost a year and I must say I will no longer be a returning customer. My little sister loves seafood so we went on Monday to eat for her birthday. The seafood is mostly fried they don't have a lot of fresh options so we mainly ordered Poboys. My little sister ordered hers fried shrimp and My older sister, my dad and myself ordered grilled. My little sister's fried shrimp were tiny tiny and mostly breading. I got the grilled shrimp poboy and you can tell it's frozen shrimp it's tiny and it had a very fishy smell to it. My sister and dad who also got grilled shrimp agreed. I also ordered the gumbo and by far it is the worst sour tasting gumbo I have ever had. I wouldn't even call that gumbo it was li sewer water. I truly don't understand how a restaurant who used to have delicious food doesn't feel ashamed to serve and sale customers this disgusting food. I see it happening all around town. Restaurants begin making delicious food then all of a sudden start buying cheaper quality products and slowly start losing business. I wouldn't be surprised if they closed down with in 6 months. If you are looking for tastes full food that is quality worth this is 1000% not the place. If you like frozen season-less fishy shrimp and sewer tasting gumbo then this is the place to go.
Had an amazing lunch on the patio with my girls last Sunday. We had a few of the daily specials. The spinach dip could have used a little more crabmeat, but aside from that everything was amazing! We ordered bisque, seafood pasta, and a salmon dish. Our server was very polite and accommodating. Will definitely come back!

The Best Seafood and service! We had gumbo, salad, fried catfish platter and snow crabs! The gumbo and crabs, finally found a place that truly knows how to season the best seafood. The fish was delicious. Ask for the impeccable service from Layton! 10 star meal and service! Thanks Mortons!

Honestly very disappointed. We chose this restaurant over others because of the reviews, yet experience was awful. Our server was good, not GREAT, but okay. The food and experience is why I gave the rating of 2.The MANAGER decided to close early (an hour and a half before their posted closing time), and started hurrying to clean and flip tables around us before we even got our food. Then the food came out burnt and our order was incorrect. Server was nice but was more focused on cleaning and sweeping than checking in on us. Will NOT be back.
