Service was great! We went here for my grandsons birthday! The band sang "happy birthday ". Our waitress was amazing! I can not remember her name. She was on point with all her service.

Consistently great food and a wonderful atmosphere. Staff is attentive and Friendly. Selection is diverse enough for various tastes. This visit I had the Sea Bass, my husband the Ribeye and my brother the lasagna. All excellent. You cannot go wrong. This is officially my favorite restaurant in the S Louisiana area.

First time here was great----second time not so much. Server took about ten minutes to bring us wine and cocktail list ---seems to me it should've been on table to begin with or given to us when we were seated. Waitress's helper was fantastic, though and he was very attentive. I was told after the fact by a person who saw the bill that we were charged a $13.00 administrative fee (we paid cash on a $481 bill!!) Seems a bit shady. Friend who was served at the bar for a drink before meeting us said service was slow and took a bit to get her bill before she could join us at bar. We were a group of women, I hate being the person who says that we get sub standard service, but this did appear to be the case.
We absolutely love this restaurant! We go a couple of times a month because it's beautiful, the staff is trained so well and the food is great. But last night , as other nights, we were turned off by the music choose. This has a huge impact on the overall dining experience. We have been told that the chef prefers the aggravating blues music. Well we do not and it does not fit the the restaurants look and feel. At least the volume was lower last night! Who pays the checks at the end of the night. I don't think it's the chef.
From the moment I walked in I was greeted warmly seated quickly and my server was very friendly and checked with us as we were planning a vacation at no point did she interrupt us but she quietly and efficiently served us and while attentive she never interrupted us I have been to Tchefuncte often and I highly recommend for fine dining

Very nice restaurant . This was our first trip here. Food was outstanding. Service was a little slow and waiter gave impression of being aggravated. Other than that the atmosphere was beautiful and the view of the river was grand. Bar area very nice.

Curtis and Patrick were our waiters. Both were knowledgeable and attentive. Food was delicious. Chef's Cuban beef stew taste was yummy. I'm SO glad carpaccio is back on the menu. The fried oysters were a nice addition. My husband's yellow fin tuna was cooked rare to perfection. We had a lovely evening.

Tchefuncte's is one of the nicest restaurants on the north shore. I've been several times and it doesn't disappoint. Celebrated a few birthdays and anniversaries there. We will be back for sure.

Celebrated Valentines Day here. This is our third time dining at Tchefuncte’s. The service is first class and the menu has a wide variety of choices to satisfy just about any palate. The drink menu is always adding new drinks! One of our favorite Restaurants!

You have to go eat here!! It is our fav restaurant and our go to! We love the shrimp biscuit appetizer! We also love the brunch menu and the pear salad!! Everything is always amazing!!
Food and service were outstanding. Service was spectacular from start to finish. We never wanted for anything. Both the chef and manager stopped by to ask us about our meal and service. Everyone was very attentive and friendly. I'm already looking forward to our next visit.
