We were looking so forward to eating at The Anchor since we had been there once before. Sorry to say, this experience was bad from start to finish. Thank goodness the food was good. I believe in 2nd chances, so I’ll be back & we’ll see.

Need to quit letting dogs in the restaurant. We were there yesterday and watched some people put their dogs water bowl on the table and let the dog drink out of it. They left no one cleaned the table someone else sat down. We eat here often but don't think we will be going back.

Great place on the Tchefuncte. We sat outside as we typically do and enjoyed our food while watching the boats go by. Very good food at a reasonable price. Beers are served very cold. Servers are friendly.

This restaurant has large openings to the outside, that includes great views of the river, a play area for kids, and an outdoor seating area.Staff was prompt and friendly.The anchor shrimp (appetizer) was was crispy, perfectly portioned and the flavor didn't disappoint it's appearance.Garlic parmesan wings (appetizer) were good. I prefer crispier wings, but they were typical compared to other restaurants I have been to. If anyone knows of a place that has large crispy wings let me know!!The Nashville hot and chicken was good. Crispy and juicy.The bacon jam burger was delicious. The bacon and jam added a sweet and savory component over your typical burgers.The fries were just ok. Thicker size like Wendy's fries, little to no seasoning/flavor and kinda on the softer size.Fish and chips, again the fries are nothing to write home about. But the large portion of crunchy and flaky redfish hit the spot for me.Strawberry lemonade mint daiquiri doesn't really have a mint taste but is very good.The play area was a good size and all the kids there including mine enjoyed this space.I was told the menu changes ever couple months.Don't know if there is a live band every night but there was a good band during our meal and the overall atmosphere was outstanding. One of our favorite places so far on the north shore overall, covering all ages of our familyWheelchair accessibility: I did see but did not use a wheelchair entrance before the actual entrance

Parking was easy. Our server was delightful and the food was amazing! Being on the water was beautiful. Highly recommend The Anchor!

Amazing views with stellar service, refreshing drinks, and tasty seafood options. This place was a nice gem to discover but it is not very vegan or kosher friendly as most of the items contain either shellfish or pork.

Very nice restaurant with a cool vibe! We loved sitting outside with the breeze and seeing the boats. The food was good, I do wish there were more options for people who don’t love meat or fish but otherwise a great experience!

Atmosphere is great. Food is just ok. It's overpriced bar-type food. Drinks are just ok, not very strong. If you're looking for a great place to hang out and don't really care about food or drinks, this is the place for you.

We love the atmosphere, and our kids love it; the music is great! But we would order the same thing every time- smoked wings and ceasar salad- loved them both! However today we went and the menu was different- wings aren't smoked anymore, taste way saltier, and cost 2$ more than 2 weeks ago. Even the salad wasn't as good. Not sure what happened, but we are sad! Otherwise, great place for the kids.
