The roast beef poboy is one of the best on the Northshore. Service is always friendly and prices are very reasonable for the amount of food you get. I had the Shrimp Philly special once and it may have one-upped the roast beef! Not a huge menu, but that's fine with me when everything is delicious. Really great local joint, definitely check them out.

Great poboys from nice folks! Try the meatball or the Bobby's dirty turkey. I have also had the roast beef, pastrami and the bus stop. All good.

My new favorite Po-boy shop on the Northshore. I'll drive from north Covington to Old Mandeville for their Ferdie and Pastrami Po-boys. I've always been Bears fan but I like these much better.My fav is still R&O's in West End but that's a different roast beef all together.D&J's rocks!!

Amazing sandwiches. Had philly, bread was fresh, and the ingredients were amazing. Fries were hot and cooked to perfection and salted tt. My friend had Roast beef sandwich and was very happy after tasting. Highly recommend!!!

Serious sandwiches. Sometimes you want something serious, but not a traditional po-boy, well that's where Dave and Jerry's comes in. Yes killer roast beef, BBQ beef, and the Ferdie, poyboys but the Bus Stop should be experienced at least once in life as well as their pastrami and Swiss. Small menu, no seafood but everything on the menu is excellent.

Reminiscent of my old NOLA neighborhood poboy joint. Great sandwich, I had the Ferdie (IYKYN)! I had it hot, but you can get it cold too, it was overstuffed and delicious. Also we walked in about 20 minutes before close and they were still welcoming even if we asked if that was OK.
