Stopped here for breakfast. The food and service were amazing. I had the shrimp and grits. It’s a big meal. I thought I would have leftovers for lunch but could not stop. It was that good. The coffee is really good here too. Brenna was my server and did an outstanding job.

My husband, friends, our grown children, their other half’s and myself have gone to fat spoon many times, in Mandeville and Covington. They are different atmosphere’s but still have great staff and the food is outstanding. One of my favorite’s are the shrimp and grits, it comes with a fried biscuit. Talk about delish! Yummy!!

If you love delicious breakfast but coffee so light Jesus could walk on it this place is the one for you! The biscuits are amazing .. fluffy and crispy. The service is amazing, they make you feel very welcome! I'm leaving 4 stars because of the coffee... now I'm someone who LOVES coffee but every time I have come here the coffee is awful. Tasted like flavored water. I haven't had their lunch but breakfast is on point.
