The service was great. Everyone was so friendly and made sure that all of our needs were met. We had a party of 10 and everyone loved their food. The livemusician was great as well. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!

The hospitality here is awesome and the food was delicious. We had the catfish po boy and the catfish platter, both served with the best fries we've had in a long time. The catfish was so tender and was well battered. The portions were great and we left feeling satisfied. I'd highly recommend coming here.

New ownership and management. Actually management is lacking. Went on Tuesday, half price oysters. The shucked oysters looked terrible... cut up in pjeces, probably the first time this person shucked. Not appetizing at all. Had to ask for horseradish, hot sauce, Worcestershire. Order a burger, med rare, it was medium. My wife ordered a shrimp dinner, it came with a salad which she never got. The waiter kept apologizing, saying he was multi tasking. Not sure, maybe he was shucking and cooking???? Only 4 tables, when Kathy ( KG ) was there Tuesday's were very busy. Wont go back for a long time.

We love love LOVE Jeffrey and the Saltines family! Laid back inviting atmosphere, good vibes, great food, great selection, service, and people. Couldn’t recommend more. A true gem of the north shore.

Worst charbroiled oysters I've ever eaten. Gave us bread but there was no butter in shells to even get and oysters were like rubber. Raw oysters were grity and shrimp poboys were really under flavored. I usually never leave a review anywhere I go but this was the worst food I've eaten and spent $275 on it. I do hope they can turn this place around.

Pretty good place for a wide variety of food. Not the best or world class or anything, but it is pretty good. This is one of my wife's favorite places ever to come to as it means we can have a great meal that neither of us have to cook at home. The food is so tasty and amazing and we absolutely love it. The service is top notch too.
Delicious food and good prices. The sweetest owners. They are working really hard to create a good business. Give them a try.

Nothing else to say but Amazing!! The crab balls are the best, the onion rings you can tell are made fresh to order. We had the shrimp scampi and the shrimp and grits as our entree, and they did not disappoint! The wait staff were very friendly and on top of everything. The owner even came out to greet all the tables. Made me feel like I was at grandma's dinner table. We will definitely be back!

We had high expectations after looking at pictures and good reviews on Yelp and Facebook, but I’m not sure if that the same restaurant we just ate at because our experience at Saltines was very poor. We sat down and were happy about the live music and seemingly delicious menu, but we looked around and noticed that FOUR tables were complaining about their food and the service. Our server also thought to apologize about everything before we even ordered, that’s when we got nervous. We ordered the crab balls that looked delicious from the pictures we had seen but they were more like crab bites. The portion, nor quality, matched the price. We then waited almost 30 minutes to receive our entrees, which were the most disappointing. My $19 “pecan crusted redfish with meunière sauce, green beans and white cheddar grits” was more like cafeteria food. I got canned green beans, instant grits with melted shredded yellow cheese on top and a plain piece of fish with no sauce or pecans in sight. We didn’t think to take a picture until after the fact so sadly you’ll just have to take our word for it. We had high hopes but unfortunately will not be returning or recommending this restaurant.
