There is absolutely nothing fancy or super innovative about this place, but it is a real staple in our community. The baked goods are nice quality and the service is fantastic. The prices are also very reasonable. I love their shoe soles and their donuts are pretty great too. They're filled. King cakes are especially delicious.

We have been ordering cakes for over 20 years from Mandeville Bakery. I tried to order one today for Sunday and was told the cut off for ordering was noon. It was around 12:20. This is not the service I am used to getting at this bakery. Called and talked to the Manager and she was pretty stern that noon was the cut off time. We love there cakes but I guess its time to find another bakery.

I would stay away from the bread since sadly mine molded the next day. Although kept it in a cool dark place, this mold occurred before the sell-by date. I wouldn’t go back.
