I got 4lbs of boiled crawfish from north lake seafood on Sunday evening arround 1pm . I got 2 for my buddy and 2 for me and we both got seafood platters and ate at the bar. The platters were good but the crawfish were cold and my buddy didn’t want his . So I ate all 4lbs , omg . I have had the worst stomach cramps and dirreah for 24 hours and still going

It has been a very long while since I have had seafood of this caliber on the Northshore. I have bought raw fish and shrimp from here for years and always pleased with their availability for crawfish but unfortunately I've never actually eaten in the restaurant.The boiled crawfish were excellent and were fair considering the current market price. Got an appetizer because we misjudged how much food we actually ordered. Fried shrimp was awesome, every thing we tasted was amazing. Even the children's meal was made from scratch and not just some frozen chicken nuggets.We paid double what I expected to but I felt like every penny was worth it and next time I will order how much food we can actually eat in a sitting.Super important note, I did not catch our waitress ' name but she was absolutely running the show. It really made me feel like eating in a family place when I was younger and I don't see that very often any more.

A local Mandeville seafood shop I highly recommend. We go for quite a few items but for me personally, this is where I buy live crawfish. Every order has been on time and at the pounds requested...and of course the crawfish were excellent. Get here!

10 out of 10! The seafood is so fresh and seasoned perfectly! Nice selection of cooked and fresh seafood. Decent beer selection at the bar. We recently got (live) crawfish from there. Great size, not alot of dead ones and clean.

Soft shell crabs poboy was delicious, not a bad price for it with 2 crabs. The bread had a good crisp taste that pleased my palate. Good food and good service, laid back.

The Manager Steve ( Yon Yon ) LeBlanc is the backbone of the establishment, he interacts with every customer and tends to everyone's needs. Now they have added a " sit down section" as well as a bar with TV's to watch games....what more could you ask for? Hands down, my go-to, on the north shore. Friendly owners and staff, fresh fresh seafood, and a great boil that's just right. Not too salty, too mild or too spicy... just right and full of flavor! It's June, now, so all about the soft shells while they're in and... NS did NOT disappoint!!! Big, fat, and delicious!!!
