The food and service here was fantastic and not a single complaint from any of the many people that we had at our table! We all really appreciated that we had an open menu to order from as opposed to a set menu for Easter!

I'm a Mandeville native and Nuvolar's has been a staple in this community for a very long time. The food is great, atmosphere is great along with service. You won't be disappointed if you're in the Mandeville area. One of my favorite places to eat on the north shore.

The restaurant was chosen for outdoor dining. The reservation was for outdoor seating. When we arrived we were told “we don't bring food outside.” We were sat in the back and had a great perspective on the booming sounds from the kitchen. The service fair; whipped ricotta appetizer odd; our entrees were very good. Not a pleasant experience overall.

Everything was very good. Only issue was the Alfredo pasta I ordered extra was little salty But it still tasted very good. My two friends were very happy with their birthday dinner. Our waitress was awesome!

1st time here food was tasty and service was great. But the table of ladies near our table was so loud and rude to the other tables near because they were so loud the whole time (I think they had a little too much to drink). I wish I could have complained but I felt they were enjoying their time I didn't want to be the one who said something. But there were numerous tables that had large crowds and not nearly as loud. This is not any fault to the restaurant. Beautiful place for dinner.

Food was great, service was great, but the noise level was pretty high, and it made it difficult to hear each other talk??‍♀️ maybe it was just a bad night with a lot of loud people.

The food was mediocre. Certainly not worth the price point. The veal was hammered so thin and overcooked that you couldn't even cut it. At 6:45 on a Saturday night they were “out” of one of the 6 options you have to order from. Server came back and told us there was one left after telling us they were out but we didn't want the scrapings from the bottom of the pan. The tables are stacked on top of each other and the noise from the table next to us and two tables down was so loud I couldn't even hear the server. Might have just been the other patrons on this particular night but I certainly would not call it destination dining. Maybe if you want to go have drinks until the food tastes good, this could be the spot for you.

Always a very inviting staff and the food is never a disappointment, have been here multiple times and it is consistently great food and service.

The menu at Nuvolari's has changed, and not for the better. Almost all dishes use cream, so if you're lactose intolerant, this is not the place for you. You can order dishes with the sauce left out, but the chef makes no effort to provide something in place of the cream sauce, so you end up with a well prepared but bland dish. Our experience was further diminished by a somewhat inept waitress. The quality of the food has increased dramatically from its low point during the pandemic, but the not so subtle note at the bottom of the menu, “Substitutions politely declined” says it all.

It's a beautiful restaurant, my first time dining. The crab cake was amazing I had The petite filet and my husband had the fish both dishes did not taste good! For the price, I expected better-tasting food.

Sat at the bar for a date night. We started with the pear cocktail & the Italian margarita. The pear cocktail was great but we weren't a fan of the margarita. However, the food was INCREDIBLE. First let's talk about the warm bread & butter. The bread had a little crunch on the outside & was soft and chewy on the inside. The butter was great as well. I loved that my husband and I both received our own butter dish so we had plenty! We started with the meatball appetizer. So flavorful and delicious. I'm not usually one to order meatballs as an app but I'm so glad we did! For our entrees, we ordered the lobster pasta and the redfish picatta. Both EXCELLENT. Plenty of huge chunks of lobster in the pasta. The redfish was topped with lots of crab and the sauce was to die for. Still dreaming about our meal and can't wait to go back!

Nuvolari's is a pretty cool Northshore spot. I went here for a wedding rehearsal dinner and honestly had never heard of it (I'm not from the area). But it is full of locals and regulars and just had a great "in from the cold" kind of vibe, where everyone was having a great evening inside while it was quiet and calm outside. The layout of the place is really cool, kind of divided into three parts, with a great bar separated minimally from the dining room and then the private areas beyond. The food was very good, and I made sure to try some of the other options we had from our set menu. Even with a party our size, everythig went smoothly and there wasn't a complaint to be heard.I think the reason (from what I could tell) was that the whole staff was helping out, bussers were happy to take drink orders and I believe the manager would duck in and lend a hand serving, clearing, and just helping out. It struck me that they seem to be in the business of hospitality (sometimes it feels like staff is just at work! (I know, I've been them before :p)).But like I mentioned, we were there for an event, and didn't pick the place or the menu ourselves, so that wasn't our #1 concern. But the atmosphere, the ambiance, and the positive vibes left an impression on me and my date after all the excitement of the wedding weekend. Cheers!
