I attended a private event at the Lakehouse in it's lovely upstairs space. We had a set brunch menu and I enjoyed my omelet... although it wasn't technically an omelet (pointed out by a 13 year old) since all the good stuff was spooned over the top of cooked eggs. Others at my table enjoyed the gulf fish (amberjack that day) and the burger. The staff was hustling to get out all our food and the various drink orders of all the guests. The space was great and we had lots of room to move around and there was a bathroom located upstairs, important when an 80 year old has hauled herself up the stairs. The host said the restaurant was great to work with.

Very grateful for an outstanding service! We celebrated my friend's Baby Shower today. Food was great and stuff was hospitable! Definitely will come back and recommend this place!

Atmosphere is very nice. On the Lake front in Mandeville, LA. You can sit inside or outside. Service started out slow but then got much better after complaining. This place is very nice but the menu is VERY LIMITED and PRICEY, and the food is nothing to write home about; but was good.

Amazing creative menu, food was excellent especially the BBQ shrimp, outstanding service and great atmosphere. Went for Taste of St. Tammany prefixed menu. Would go there more but regular menu is too expensive for myself & senior friends.

First of all, we were greeted by a friendly hostess at the front door. No wait. Waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable. Food was great, with good portions. We were upstairs. no issues with noise!

Had a family gathering here on a midweek evening in Mandeville and had an enjoyable time. Ate on the patio on a cool evening and the understated elegant ambiance and lake view were great. We were a fairly large group with small children and so presented some complexities, but the staff was warm and welcoming and made it work well. Excellent appetizers of fried green tomatoes and crab cakes were excellent. Entrees were also very good with a sticky tuna and gulf fish over mashed potatoes with an excellent sauce were standouts, along with the osso buco. Prices were somewhat steep, but the price of an enjoyable lakefront evening should probably be figured in. Recommended for a nice night out!
